a Chi straightener works the best it smooths your hair and gets it super straight and silky =]What is the best flat iron for hair ?
trust me the best flat iron in the market is the Sedu!i've used CHI,Solia,GHD,Kiyoseki,Kenta,FHI,ION,etcand Sedu is the best one it gets my hair sooo straight, sleek, shiny, and soft,i cant beleive it!dont get a CHI it works ok but it does not last long.mine broke after only 7 months, and my friends blew up when she plugged it in0_o i highly recomend a Sedu:)
http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_r1/a>
CHi!! =]
have been using it for a long time my whole family[the girls n e way] all use the chi and i have like 4 sisters plus my girl cousins! =] and we all love it. makes your hair shiney.. oh extra tip when ever you straighten or use hot tools on your hair make sure to use a thermal gaurd.. chir thermal gaurd 44 spray is pretty good.! =]
The BEST flat iron you can use on your hair is the CHI iron. They are VERY expensive in stores, but you can buy them on e-bay for under 50 dollars. They work wonders for all different hair types and I have them in the shop I work in. You'll love it
if your hair is curley and hard to straighten i would reccomend the ghd , its extremely expensive though its about 250 some ppl are in love with the chi my friend has one and i used it and it wasnt that great so i would go for the ghd
terma line 500.
its wider and it works ALOT better then the chi. ((on my hair it does)) it kinda makes ur hair look like the chinese ppls hair. lol no joke. consider purchasing it. idk how much it was cuz it was a gift, but its worth the money!
I love the chi straightners! they get your hair straight and glossy. However they can be pricey$, but definently worth it. good luck!
Chi's are very nice, but very expensive.

CHI irons http://www.folica.com/CHI_Ceramic_Fla_d1/a>What is the best flat iron for hair?
The best hair straightener is the Chi. People say that it is very bad, but that is because they only look at the pricing which is around $89.99, however, if you look at it, invest in a Chi because it really is the best and it works for everyone. Another good brand to look at is the Sedu. It is new and even more expensive than the Chi, around $120.00, and it also straightens your hair. The main difference between the Chi and the Sedu is that the Sedu straightens your hair for just straightening it, while the Chi straightens your hair while giving it a shine and making your hair silky and smooth. I recommend the Chi to everyone because it is an amazing product and everyone who looks at the product and not the price is guareenteed to love it. It also curls wonderfully:))
the conair infinity, it works so good, and it's not very expensive, and it dosn't do as much damage to ur hair like other flat irons
I really like the sedu. It makes my hair super straight and it makes it smooth and shiny too
I don't like the InStyler from the T.V. ad. (that's just my opinion and I have very thick wavy hair) Any ceramic flat iron from Revlon works great.
thats the instyler and i tried it but it didnt work good on me... i love CHI
Get an InStyler (Thats what the one on the commercial is called)
I bought mine at Walmart. A Remington flat iron. $25.97 its the one inch size. They have a 2 inch size for $2 more. It can be worked on wet/damp hair or dry hair. Read the directions.
Buy new John Freda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation smoothing creme it smoothes away frizz and keeps hair silky straight for up to 24 hours.
I found this at Target.
NO, NO,NO. The only hair straightener to use is the GHD. Trust me. They are about 200拢 and come with instructions DVD. They are available at your hairdresser.
If that's a bit abovce your budget try a straightener from Remington. Here is their web site and th GHD website.

What is the most reasonable to pay for a CHI flat iron for hair?
I am new to this flat iron thing but my daughter wants one. She is wanting a CHI. My stepdaughter has one and her CHI is black and she is telling me that the black one is the best, but my daughter wants a colored one, and I don't know if there is a difference in quality or heat in any other color than black.
I really don't want to get a black one, because she might try to trade with her, hoping no one will notice, since she is wanting a new one too.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I don't mind spending 90.00 but I want it to last a while also. I am hoping color doesn't change the quality or heat in a CHI.
THank you all for your help. What is the most reasonable to pay for a CHI flat iron for hair?
the color doesnt change the price, at least it shouldnt. if you buy it online you will undoubtedly get it cheaper. At trade secret in the mall, they sell it for 129.99.
heres one for 75 dollars.
http://www.beautychoice.com/products/CHI/a>
heres a colored one for 90

and it is a very reliable site. What is the most reasonable to pay for a CHI flat iron for hair?
CHI hair straightener is one of the renowned Hair Straightener. You can easily purchase CHI straightener. The price range is $79.99 to $99.99 here http://www.hairstraightenersiron.com
I got mine for 59.99 on ebay.
If you want it to last long getting a chi is NOT the way to go.
Chi's are notorious for having a wiring problem and dying quickly. Not to mention the fact that chis run on old technology and there are way better irons out (like solia for example).
If you absolutely have to get a chi, dont buy one online unless its directly from chi and they give you a warranty (although i believe folica.com provides a warranty as well).
If I were you i would buy one from a salon or beauty supply that will replace the iron when it shorts out (which trust me, it will, i went through3 of them in 2 months, but I didnt have to pay for them because the salon kept exchanging them).
My other piece of advice is get good heat protector. Like I said, chi's run on old technology and it WILL cause damage to your daughters hair.
If you can by chance find a chi made in korea, get that one. The new ones are made in Texas and they really are bad quality, but the made in Korea ones are better.
I personnally found that there is a difference between the different chi's, but that may just be me.
if you need more help, feel free to let me know.

What flat iron for hair do you recommend?
Okay, so I've been looking for a REALLY GOOD hair straightener. And I'm debating over whether to get a CHI or a Sedu. I've heard bad things about CHI saying it doesn't last long. For Sedu, I heard it makes your hair frizzy and doesn't straighten well enough like CHI. But Sedu, I think is at the top. And CHI is below it. But I saw pictures of CHI results and the girls hair were looking soo sleek and straight! I really need a new flat iron! Please tell me your opinion and other brands that are excellent. CHI OR SEDU?!What flat iron for hair do you recommend?
neither. get d instyler. i had like the worst hair in the world. u should c it now. OMG!!What flat iron for hair do you recommend?
CHI, 1'; flat iron.
CHIs break down pretty quickly.
I don't like 'em.
As for Sedu, I've never heard of that so I wouldn't know.
NO INSTYLER! Personally i like the Chi, its light wait but get really hot and has a really good hand grip.
I've never tried CHI or Sedu, but I know I've heard a lot of good things about the CHI. I personally use a Solia, which is a lot like the CHI, but it's amazing. :)
Get the GHD. It cost a good bit extra, but I know form experience that it is worth it. I've used unheard of brands, I've used second tier brands like CHI, and I've used top of the line GHD's. They are certainly the best. If you REALLY want a good flat iron, then go for the GHD.
Just make sure you buy them from an official retailer, like their website - and they will be warranty for 2 years.
There is a clear difference in how your hair comes out. You want it to look it's best, get the best.
get chi. i have had the same chi straightener for years and it still works just as great as the day i bought it. i would never use another brand! make sure to use spray made for heat on your hair so your hair won't get fried

Best flat iron for hair...
My hair is very thick and curly.
I have used a multitude of hair irons ranging from Chi, to Conair. I have recently purchased a Solia flat iron based on great reviews.
It came in the mail and I guess I expected it to be some miracle hair iron, but to me, personally, it sucks! My hair is poofier than ever, the iron barely makes it flat and shiny, it looks even more dried out than before... am I doing something wrong here?
I used a $25 flat iron from Kohl's and it worked better than this solia. It gets hot and all but as for making it nice, thumbs down.
What are some of the irons you guys use? How good are they and would you recommend them??Best flat iron for hair...
i've used soooo many irons before and the best one was the Sedu! it works like magic on my hair it leaves it smooth, shiny, silky, straight and smooth! i highly recomend this iron:)
before after pics-http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_r1/a>Best flat iron for hair...
GHD's (I have the GHD IV styler) - the answer to everything- they're perfect and keep your hair glossy and tamed perfectly all day (no frizz, and your style doesn't get ruined in the wind) and it doesn't ruin hair in the long-term, either.
My god-send!
Hope this helps (:
my hair is like yours and i use the Remington Wet 2 Straight, I turn the heat up all the way and it works pretty well. I'd try it and it's only like $20. Use some hair product that protects against heat just in case. hope i helped!
I use a Conair Infiniti Flat Iron, and it heats up super fast and works realllly well. I have thin hair.
http://images-cdn01.associatedcontent.co/a>
i read good reviews about the Sedu, and i wish to order it soon..
I get lots of compliments on my hair so I hope my advice works for you.
HERSTYLER has the BEST hair appliances out there but if you buy it from the website is very expensive and even if you buy it somewhere else it's still a lil pricey but a lot cheaper. The flat iron I got it from the mall's kiosk for $100 from $200 but if you go on ebay it's cheaper I recommend the color ones, mine is Red. Other appliances I have if you're interested are 3pc Curler from Herstyler i believe I bought it from beauty discount and as for the hair dryer I bought a T3, quality wise is like Herstyler for $150 from $300 at Amazon.com that was a hard to get bargain. Good luck! Don't forget MOISTERIZING is KEY!

Buying flat iron for hair..............plz help?
i want to buy a new hair iron.............i have 2 options.....the first is one that produces steam while ironing the hair (written on the box that steam gives softness and lusture to the hair) .................the second is an ordinary iron that doesnt produce steam. well, i have dry hair...............is there any1 who can help????? anyone who tried both?Buying flat iron for hair..............plz help?
well i have frizzy dry hair so i use sebastian laminates styling gel, then i use a simple small conair straightener, and a lil more of that gel.
i also use the shampoo, conditioner, and the hair mask, and people think i have natural strait hairBuying flat iron for hair..............plz help?
yes i have tried both.....go to rite aid and get a gold plate flat iron....it is black on the outside
As long as it's good quality it doesn't damage your hair. A cerammic one is always good. I've tried steam, but I didn't like it. I prefer my dry one.
first one
The best ones that wouldn't damage your hair are CHI and Babyliss. If this isn't in your price range ($150-$200), you at least want the plates to be ceramic which reduces the damage to the hair follicles. But I only swear by my CHI. I have thick hair and the iron does the trick in one stroke. Good luck!!!

Which ionic ceramic flat iron for hair straighting is the best and cheapest.?
you wont find too many that are cheep i know the best is chi but i would go to sallys like suggest above because the higher priced flat irons are meant for professionals and without the knowledge of how to use one like how long to leave it on the hair you should use a cheaper one that you can find for 20 30 bucks at sally's you are better off so you dont burn off your hair you should also use a shine serum or flat iron serum because i see tooooo many people in my chair with frize and split ends because they dont use anythingWhich ionic ceramic flat iron for hair straighting is the best and cheapest.?
im not sure which one is the best but if you want good quality for cheap prices look for the ';SALLY'S'; nearest you.

What is the best flat iron for hair?
I have bad luck with flat irons. I've had two that didn't work worth a crap, and I really want to get the best one. What is the best flat iron for hair?
I think better used solia hair iron .For more information http://solia-hair-iron.blogspot.com/What is the best flat iron for hair?
get a ceramic one it doesn't pull on ur hair
i JUST saw a study about this...I can't remember which was rated the best....you should google it or something. whatever you do, don't spend all your money on a CHI straightener. i bought one. they are very expensive but totally overrated. Its not that good on my thick wavy hair. i think the best one in the study was actually like a conair one that you can get at the drugstore for a good price. not sure....you should look it up

What is CHI and SEDU regarding flat iron for hair?
well i have long, dry and curly hair. i want to buy a flat iron for my hair. i really dont understand what CHI or SEDU means. anyway, i have 2 options......i'll either buy one that produces steam while ironing the hair (written on the box that the steam it produces makes hair soft and shiny) and one that doest (dry i.e produces heat only) both the flat irons are coated with ceramic and i think both have the same power. plz help!!!What is CHI and SEDU regarding flat iron for hair?
the CHI stands for ceramic hot iron. it is good, but they are very very fragile and the electricity shorts out a lot. so basically they are really expensive pieces of crap. and you can't control the temperature of the iron.
i've never tried the sedu, but have heard good things.
check out the HAI. it has adjustable heat settings all the way up to 400 degrees and it has a year warranty. i've had mine for 2 years already.
check out folicabeauty.com to see reviews on the sedu. What is CHI and SEDU regarding flat iron for hair?
CHi and SEDU are brands of some of the best flat irons our planet has(lol)
I use dry striahgteners that only produce heat. I have a whoel bunch of them %26amp; they work fine. Youd probably need some sort of straightening spray stuff tho [ its normally used to protect the hair from the damage the heat could give it]. I dont really know anythign about the other one tho.

Flat irons for hair - what is a reasonably priced but good one.?
I have started to wear my hair straight and really love having it flat ironed at a salon but it is expensive to do on a regular basis. I bought an inexpensive one at Walmart but it just doesn't straighten my hair enough and seems to overdry my hair where the ones at the salon don't. Can you recommend one that works well but isn't too terribly expensive. Thanks.Flat irons for hair - what is a reasonably priced but good one.?
Well, there are alot of good ones, so i'll tell you the bad ones.
These are things that you want to avoid when buying a flat iron:
Below $30 (I have seen $8 ones at a store once)
Mentions anything about steam
Dries your hair
Metal Plates
You want a ceramic one that just straightens. Steam blisters your hair and damages it alot. Metal plates burn your hair.
Hope this helps!Flat irons for hair - what is a reasonably priced but good one.?
Get one thats CERMAIC, and heats up quickly so it doesn't kill your hair
I think if your going low budget, these would be your best bet

CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.
To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.
For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.
I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.
It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.
Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?
Never use on wet hair.
Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:
72 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1257 total reviews.
Sedu:
24 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3814 total reviews.
That speaks for itself!
If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.
Take a look at this.
http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh/a>
Note how CHI is number 7.
Note how GHD is number 4.
Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!
Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.Best flat iron for hair --no more than $125 (US) dollars?
Corioliss! OMG it works like a charm and its only $99.99.
My normal hair is LIKE poffy and curly it made my heard look extra big and with Corioliss my hair is Selena Gomez Straight so yeah it works!
sedu!!
no on the chi it breaks right after the warranty ends!
Its SO good and it makes your hair look silky and shiny.
My hair condition has also improved since using it.
Its waaay healthier than the chi or other brands.
i'd definitely recommend chi or sedu ! :]
the Chi. its only 100$

Whats the cheapest but best flat iron [for hair] i can get?
Revlon..$11
at wal-mart..make my hair soft and straghit =]Whats the cheapest but best flat iron [for hair] i can get?
I use Infiniti by Conair, and it was pretty cheap. You could get it anywhere from Fred Meyer to Target. I got mine at Target, and it works fine.Whats the cheapest but best flat iron [for hair] i can get?
It really depends. But I suggest if you buy Remington wet 2 straight or any hair straighteners that straighten hair while wet, don't buy those please, it'll damage and make your hair frizz. Revlon works great for me. If your buying a hair straightener make sure you use a heat activated shampoo conditioner and spray to protect your hair from heat and make your hair easier to straighten, and also deep condition once a week.

Hi,Im looking for a good flat iron for hair. I currently have a conair 20.00 dollar thingee. Anyone ?
I know some can be very expensive..Im not a hairdresser,,just want a good one that will get the job done. Thanks i n advanceHi,Im looking for a good flat iron for hair. I currently have a conair 20.00 dollar thingee. Anyone ?
OMG i HAVE THE REMINGTON WET/DRY STRAiGHTNER!iT iS LiKE 40-60 DOLLARS MABEY!Hi,Im looking for a good flat iron for hair. I currently have a conair 20.00 dollar thingee. Anyone ?
I have tried all kind of flat irons and fornd the (Conair Infiniti) to work real well around $40.00 dollars and a 5 year warrnty and 100% solid ceramic.
I have a chi iron it works great and I LOVE IT it is 200 but it is worth it !!!!!
Chi all the way!
I also have the remington wet/dry one .You can use it to dry and straighten your hair. Its digital and ceramic so you can't go wrong with this one. I saw a few other people said they have it too. The great thing is you can go to target and get one and it is fairly cheap. Trust me you will love it. My hair is naturally curlly and I have used this this for a while and it makes your hair silky straight. And if you want ultimate results try the john freida frizz ease Serum. Oh my gosh it makes your hair like a dream!!!! I use it on my daughters hair too. Everyone always think that we use a relaxer but we just use the above products.... So there you go girlly get that remington.Oh yeah the ion is really good also..
I have a remington wet 2 straight one .
it works pretty well, i had some $60.00
one last year, but it didnt work too well
and it was name brand i think. and the
one i have now was only $24.00 :DDD
yupp.go to target.get the CHI flat iron.git it it works!!!!its like 120.i used to have a vidal sasoon 1 where it was 20 too.n it didnt work at all.i had to go over the hair like 10 times before it can get not even straight..the CHI works!!!take it from me!!!good luck!!!!
i have a hot tools ceramic flat iron and it really works very well. you can get that at any drug store. the best is sedu, go to folica dot com, the reviews are an excellent way to help you decide. the sedu is expensive, but does not pull your hair and my hot tools does, a little, on the edges--it cost about $42.99 and the sedu is close to or over $100.00, but worth it--guarenteed and quality workmanship. ceramic is the best --- i had conair and the quality is a deterent for me.
good luck
I use the white Revlon flat iron and I think that it works as well as any expensive straightener. I got it at Wal-Mart for around $20.
i own a ';libere de paris'; n its a bit expensive like 120 but it works great n its big 2
I need a flat iron for survival since I have naturally kinky, a bit frizzy type hair. The brand Hot Tools is good, I would highly recommend it. If you want the Best, I'm telling you, you need a Kenta. These are not cheap, $150 or so.. but worth every penny. They are imported from Italy, so you can only get them online.
Go to the beauty supply store and buy the cheap bootleg brands. Those r the best ones. Conair and all that mainstream crap doesn't work for sh*t. Use the ones for black hair. They heat up better and work better. Ceramic.
Love my Chi!!! Fantastic....it works way better than conair.....check out Ebay for the best price. Ceramic irons work best.
