Anywhere. Most stores have them. Or Ebay.

My CHI hair iron.?

It stopped working last week. So my mom brought it back to my hair stylist who she got it from less than a year ago. She told her she'd take care of it. Are they going to give me a new one? Fix the old one?

And how long will it be until I get it back? (you probably can't tell me)My CHI hair iron.?
They're going to send it back to the factory, it'll be repaired, then sent back to you. It usually takes about 2 weeks. My CHI hair iron.?
Upgrade to a NanoChi its more money but it works great...

from stylist
well see thats what happnes the chi breaks in a year whcih sucks so many people oooooar on here like ohh no my chi works ...yea for now i would say dont get the chi angain it's going to break again waste of money get the sedu

Chi hair iron only a ripe off?

i have been ironing my hair striaght since i was 15 im now 21 i normally use a vidal sasson iron to straighten my hair and it works very well the iron runs for about 20 bucks i tried the chi iron and had the exact same results and that iron runs for about 100 bucks. And i have very long thick wavy/curly hair. So i just want girls to know not to waste your money the way a product works best is if your know how to properly use it. theres no need to spend an extra 90 bucks on a new trendy little red iron when the local one form your drugstore will do the exact job you just need to know how to use it.Chi hair iron only a ripe off?
I agree. The cheap brands work as well as the expensive brandsChi hair iron only a ripe off?
I disagree, maybe it's because of your hair texture it didn't make a difference.

I have very curly, very thick, very coarse, tightly-curled hair.

Vidal Sassoon did NOTHING for me except make my curls looser. I never had straight hair with that iron, and it made my hair poofy.

Now Chi on the other hand, I can achieve pin-straight results with that iron. No poofiness, frizzing, or waving up later in the day even in this Florida humidity!

Plus, Chi has a ceramic plate which does less damage to your hair than the irons, so even if you get the same results from Vidal Sasoon, you're still doing less damage to your hair by using the Chi.
No I have a Chi and it was worth the money. Since it is ionic it doesn't scorch your hair like regular flat irons do. Plus you only will have straighten it every few days instead of with the regular ones where you have to do it like everyday.
Alencia D. Is Right, The ceramic makes a big difference.
Finally! A person who actually understands hwat I'm talking about. Ok. I just bought a sedu flat iron from ULTA 2 days ago. I thought i t was pretty good, but not worth the price. It didn't make my hair shiny or anything. So i returned it today, and decided to try the andis tourmaline nano-ceramic flat iron for $24. The results were great. It made my hair shinier than the Sedu. I mean, sure, the Sedu was much easier to handle and the results last longer, but the andis is great for the price. The Sedu is not so great. Before buying the andis, i thought about trying the CHI, but figured it would just be the same, if not even worse becaue it's wothout tourmaline. But, i definetly agree with you 100%. And plus, i didn't know the vidal sassoons were good. Never tried it. Didn't look the best, but after you said it, i might try it.

Anyone know where i could get the CHI hair iron????

I bought mine from Bed, Bath and Beyond. You can use the 20 % discount on it too :)Anyone know where i could get the CHI hair iron????

Trust me on this, the FHI is SOOO much better! The FHI is like a magic machine, it's amazining,,,that's all I could say.

But if you insist on CHI, I've seen it at JC Penny's Salon

I've seen it at Starbeauty -you could also

how much does the turbo chi hair iron cost?

is it worth it?...How much does a chi hair iron cost?
Well atm they're having a massive sale online.

    They're usually about $250

    Now they're like $80

Should probably go get one before they sell out xD

http://www.chihaironline.com/How much does a chi hair iron cost?
They're pricey. I bought mine from a salon for $100. I'm sure you can find one for around or cheaper than $60 online. I love mine. It's the only one I use. It has various settings from really low heat to really high. Don't buy the turbo though because it will burn your hair. Stick with the original size.

    http://www.chihairstraightener.us/
umm probably like 70-100 but yea the more expensive the iron is the better and high qulaity it is
a hair chi hair iron costs 64.99

p.s. the ghd link i sent u is authentic..the iron is not a replica like some others on the site! so make sure u ask sellers if the irons u purchase are genuine..most are real!! Does anyone own a CHI hair iron?
My bestie Chelsea owns one. She has strait hair, but it curls in the back, which most people find unatrative, any, it works miracles. I perfer the MaxiGlide, but the CHI is good also.

    Hope I helped!
yes. mine is awesome. i have extremely frizzy, curly and thick hair. it works perfectly, but takes a while as you have to straighten small pieces for it to work the best.

    i love it.
i do and it works pretty well.....people arejealous of me for my hair....it straightens awesome
    Yes..
yeaaa!!!!!! and i love it %26lt;33

Isn't my Chi Hair Iron supposed to close flat?

I bought a pink Chi, and when I close it you can see a space between the ceramic paddles toward the inner end of it while the end peices are together. As a result it pulls my hair...is it supposed to be that way or should I exchange it?Isn't my Chi Hair Iron supposed to close flat?
Exchange! And get the black one instead if you can... the plastic is different with the colored ones, and they do not heat up as well, the black one is much better. =)Isn't my Chi Hair Iron supposed to close flat?
i have 2 of those same one and a different black one. but yes the chi is normal. it is supposedd to do this because when you straighten your hair the space will be needed. :)
    Thats normal.

No need to exchange because they are all like that.

    Hope that helped =)
try closing it with your fingers at the other end too if still not closing then exchange it
You should exchange it or you can use the warrenty that comes with the Chi Iron. They should fix it or replace it for free.
Exchange it,it's not suppose to do that, try buying a Sedu.

    :]
i have the same one, and it does that to. SO im guessing its normal.
    you should exchange it...

What is the best chi hair iron to buy? ?

Even if you don't have one I want to know what you would get. Websites to find it will be great! Of course I want new. I don't trust USED.

Oh and if you know a better hair iron let me know. I have frizzy really curly hair. Thanks! What is the best chi hair iron to buy? ?
I wouldnt bother with a chi now, they dont make them in korea anymore so now the quality sucks. Also, they really dry your hair. I used mine for six years (made in korea, it was wonderful) and it really dried out my hair. If you can find one made in korea, go for it, but if its made in texas dont bother.

If you can afford to, get a ghd, they are AMAZING...they are $239 tho http://www.folica.com

if not, get a Sedu Revolution, I heard they are great. But my absolute vote goes to GHD they are worth every pennyWhat is the best chi hair iron to buy? ?
I had a Chi and it fried my hair. It was the worst thing ever. I used the whole Chi set, the shampoo, conditioner, oil, and spray. Now I use a Hot Tools ceramic with herbal essences leave in conditioner and biosilk. My hair is super curly and frizzy too. No matter what iron you get you need products that will help put moisture into your hair and repel the heat. That is what I learned over the years after frying my hair, multiple times!
I think the little 1'; one looks really neat, I bet it would make bangs and little pieces of hair really easy to get to. I'm waiting for my current iron to die so I have an excuse to get one. :)

Where do i find a Chi hair iron??

I went to sallys, and a lot of salons around where i live and i haven't found any! Im going to pa today, the king of prussia and i was just wondering if anyone knew if there might be one there?Where do i find a Chi hair iron??
I have seen them where I live at Target.Where do i find a Chi hair iron??
    http://www.folica.com
the only place i've seen them is in a mall kiosk but i'm sure you could find them on the internet too!
    E BAY has it all.
If your local mall has a jcpenney salon, they sell them. Or, try Sally Beauty Supply, or another trade store like that. If you know someone in the hair business, they will probably have a membership to a store like that and they also get a better price than market value. I LOVE MY CHI!!!
Go to one of those salons where those really pompus type women go-it's where I got mine!

  • Is the Chi hair iron the same as a Conair?

Im looking for a hair ironer but i wanted to know cuzeverybody told me chi is the best but its to expensive so i wanted o know if a conair is good if not which ever!!! Please help!! please if there is another one please tell me but it has to be less then 30.00 dollars. Please thank u very much. :DIs the Chi hair iron the same as a Conair?
NO! the Chi is the top, best brand for all flat irons, curling irons..ect. i have the GVP which has been compared to CHi but u can't get any better than the Chi. i really like the GVP though and Bed HeadIs the Chi hair iron the same as a Conair?
Sedu is actually probably the best flat iron, and Chi the second. Sedu and Chi are both very expensive, but work really REALLY well xD

Conair is cheaper, and its worth the price :]

I would recommend Sedu or Chi if price doesn't matter, and Conair if you want something good and cheaper. :]
conair is good, chi is brilliant, but if you cant get a chi one, get ghds, they are pretty darn good :D

Can you buy the chi hair iron in Australia?

If not, what is considered the best brand over there? It is fine if it is pricy (the chi can run over $100 in the US).Can you buy the chi hair iron in Australia?
I lived there for a whole year and I just got home a few weeks ago and my iron obviously didn't fit the plugs so I tried looking for a Chi the whole time but I never found one. GHD is big there and will be the majority of what you find for flat irons. You could always try ebay = )

Is there such a thing as a fake CHI hair iron?

I want to buy off eBay... are they the original thing or can they be fake?Is there such a thing as a fake CHI hair iron?
I know they have fake Chi's at Sally's Beauty. They are called GVP Generic Value Products Chi's and are about $40 cheaper. They are knockoffs, but they don't sell them like fraud products. On Ebay, I think they would probably be real, as long as the price is practical for a Chi. Compare the image to a real Chi and see. Good luck, I love my Chi!Is there such a thing as a fake CHI hair iron?
I was wondering the same thing when I saw a CHI iron at Target today. Weird.
maybe! their are alot of brands that copy other products and you end up with a cheap and useless imitations..but if you think that its the real deal go for it!

    Chi hair iron?????????????????????

FIRST IS THE CHI NANO A GOOD STRAIGHTNER???

[IF NOT, WHAT CHI IS??,OR IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER??]

I HAVE CURLY-THICK-FRIZZY HAIR BY THE WAY.

MAIN QUESTION-HOW LONG WOULD IT LAST??[CHI NANO]

    PLEASE HELP,THANKS!!Chi hair iron?????????????????????
If the one you are talking about is the CHI Nano Technology then i think it is GREAAT!!!!!!!!!!! i love it and my chi's probably last for about a year to a year and a half. i am not done with the nano thought. but here is a hint. if you REALLY love your chi you can go to beauty brands *or where ever you get it* and then you can take your receipt and box *make sure you keep it when you buy it* and then ask for a refund. just say it isnt hot anymore and you can get the same one for free or you can upgrade it. hope i helped :DChi hair iron?????????????????????
thats a good one look on beauty.com and they will give u full description thick coarse hair could use the higher temp
I'd say the Chi Ceramic Flat Iron is the best one, it heats up quick, and does a great job! Although, if you have curly hair you might want a thicker one, like the Big Chi 2 Inch Hair Styling Iron.
My friend has that one, and she hates it. It's extremely damaging and it takes a while. Look on folica.com. I suggest the Sedu straightener. I have it, and it's around the same price as a Chi and it's AWESOME! I love it! I have thick, frizzy, curly, long hair, and i can straighten it in 15-20 minutes compared to 40 minutes with a Chi. The sedu is great!
CHI has a lifetime warranty...if it breaks, send it in and theyll send you a new one. I would stay away from the chi nano...check out some of the other ones with wider plates...

www.overstock.com has chi irons on them
Chi!! just spend the money and get eat!! i have had the chi turbo for over a year now and its still going strong.

i have the same hair type as you
i love mine it works so good and it lasts a really long time

    Chi..hair iron?

If I buy a Chi iron, the straightening one, does it automatically change to curly and wavy with like a click of a button? or do I have to change the cover or anything like that?

And I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of all three styles, straight, curly, and wavy, after using the Chi.Chi..hair iron?
The straightening one is just a flat iron, but you COULD use it to curl. I think that it's difficult to curl your own hair with the Chi by yourself because it requires two hands and rotating the Chi down your hair as it's in the iron. (Does that make sense?) Wavy is a little bit harder to achieve. You'd have to experiment but it IS possible! And don't forget to protect your hair with some kind of product so that you don't fry it. I would try and send you pictures, but i'm REALLY not good at curling with the Chi.Chi..hair iron?

What is the best hair iron?

    Sedu or Ozon!

Sedu and Ozon both contains tourmaline, titanium, and ceramic plates which gives your plates a even heating. Tourmaline is a moisture attractor which will make your hair healthier and look shinier as well.

The Chi (and GHD) only has one heat temperature setting which does not allow you to adjust to the temperature that best accommodates your hair type. The Sedu and Ozon both have adjustable heat temperature setting which gives you more option for your hair.

Check out folica.com and ozonhair.com. If you decide to go with the Sedu, get the 1'; original.. you will also receive the mini flat iron as a added bonus and you also get free shipping.

the Ozon is $90 with shipping but all you get is a free serum.. I own a Sedu and I absolutely love it. Compared to my old Conair, this iron glides through my hair so smoothly it's unbelievable.

If you're looking for another option, look at the solia.. I've heard that is pretty good but some people have said it doesn't work as well after a year.

Always use a heat protection spray before ironing! What is the best hair iron?
    The Chi%26lt;3

it might take a while to straighten your hair with it, but when its done it looks real good and it stays like that most of the dayWhat is the best hair iron?
    Chi.

    http://www.folica.com/Chi_Flat_I_317_1.h/a>

they're pretty pricey, but worth it.
the chi i have really curly hair and it keeps it strait all day%26lt;3
    http://www.folica.com/Solia_Tourmalin_d1/a>

The Solia Tourmaline. Look at the reviews and photos, become a believer!

This is by far the best flat iron ever. It uses Tourmaline which is a semi-precious gemstone that infuses the hair with negative ions to lock away frizz and create a sleek, shiny look for hair. It has moving plates that insure each every strand of hair that goes through, really gets the royal treatment. Look here,

    http://www.folica.com/CHI_Original_1__d4/a>

scroll down and even the site that endorses Chi flat irons shows that people choose the Solia over the Chi. It is way more affordable and lasts a lifetime. I use a Solia and i am very satisfied. Ive had mine for 3 years now and it still works WONDERS. It is only 79.99 free shipping, (14.95 if you live in Canada) awesome. The Chi will wreck your hair over time, but this Solia locks in the hair cuticle to ensure best long-term results. Good Luck, i hope you make the right decision. :)

What is the best hair iron?

what company? What is the best hair iron?
CHI is the very best!!! its expensive but they last a lonng time and wont damage your hair as much.

if you cant afford a chi. then go for a BEDHEAD. theey're almost as good.

but you cant beat a CHI. [=

hope this helpsWhat is the best hair iron?
i would say either the CHI or the Sedu. I've had

both irons and the sedu was amazing and i

loved it and it kept my hair straight in the humidity,

but it broke after after a year and a half.

I had 2 kinds of CHI's the ultra chi and the turbo chi.

The ultra chi gets ur hair really silky but if its humid

out then ur hair will start frizzing. the ultra chi is really

good but i prefer the sedu since it is cheaper and works

    the same
The sedu is the best and is about the same price as a chi...u don't seem to get that smoke rising from the iron as u straighten...so u definitely know it can't be causing as much damage!
Chi Turbo Flat iron one inch. I have super curly hair, and one day one of my friends brought it over and asked me if I wanted her to try it on me. I said yes, and without any hairstyling products or anything, she did it and man.. the results were AMAZING she did it really quickly and my hair looked like Avril Lavigne.

I'm looking for a new hair iron. I have thicker hair, but want one that is smaller and sort of travel friendly. If there any with heat settings... that would be nice. I want the best one that straightens hair fast. What is the BEST HAIR IRON?
If you are going for cheap but good. I would go with Conair. Anything Conair has worked really good for me. I had a curling iron from them for like 10 years before it broke. good luck. What is the BEST HAIR IRON?
You'll see. Not really good irons compared to the pricier ones like CHI. Really, no comparison. You should reconsider. Good luck.

Go for ceramic flat irons. they cause less damage. Go to Sally Beauty Supply to find them.
chi! it doesnt have heat settings, but it is like the best sraightener! no joke. it works really well, even in humidity! it is pricey but worth it. it will last for a while too
CHI...the one and only! totally worth the money!!
All of Paul Mitchells straightners work best. I used to work in a hair salon and thats what i would use on my customers there around 100-200 dollars. And they come in different sizes according to what inch you want
I have a CHI. it's not small, but its great.
HELEN OF TROY! it is sooooooooooooo awesome!
