my parents dont like me using the hair straightnener because it burns my hair how can i make my hair straight???i have naturally curly hair and im 11 yrs old if my mom wasnt a salonist (she use 2) my hair wouldve been looking like sedusa everyday and the blowdrying doesnt make it straight like how all the other gurls have it at school. =[I want my hair 2 be very straight i bought a ceramic straightener %26amp; my eye got red bcause it was hot %26amp;.....?
Speak to you mum and ask her if she would be prepared to chemically straighten it for you, otherwise would a different set of straighteners be better for you?
You must of had them quite close to your eyes to have caused it to go red, otherwise your hair was too wet.
There are lots of shampoos and conditioners available to help protect your hair from damage.
Whilst curly hair is really nice, everyone likes to change their hair style occasionally.
People make mistakes all the time. The job of you parents is to make sure those mistakes are safe. Getting her involved through a little diplomacy will help you both and reassure her that you want to be more careful.I want my hair 2 be very straight i bought a ceramic straightener %26amp; my eye got red bcause it was hot %26amp;.....?
well i dont know caz my hair wont go straight either but i think it matters what shampoo and condition you use the more expensive the better
ur eye got red?!?!?!
i use a ceramic straightner...it depends on how curly ur hair is...if its extremely curly then put it to the highest heat setting..and if not ..accordingly decrease it..do not use it on wet hair..i repeat...do NOT..it rips ur hair right apart.. :-P
be paitent, it takes time, but works...dont let it burn ur hair, straight it for an appropriate time
You can buy a shampoo that helps straighten your hair. I forget the name but you can't miss it, it's in a bright orange bottle. However, this didn't completely straighten my hair. It just made my curls less curly. You can straighten, you just need to be educated in how to properly use it.
their is probably a control to change the temp if not take it back a get a diffrent brand
their are also diffrent types of hair products that prevent your hair from burning
and don't put it too close to your head that may be it
or section it off
You can use a straightener 1 - 2 times per week without worrying about too much heat damage. The trick to flat irons, you need to use it at a much lower heat setting than what you had it on. It should not be set so high that it is burning your hair. In addition, you can buy styling products that provide a protective thermal heat barrier between your hair and the iron. Finally, if you shampoo and style your hair every other day or every 2 days, you don't have to use the iron, daily. It gives your hair a break. If you are using the right protective styling products, they will help protect your hair as well as help you hold your style for 1 or 2 days inbetween shampooing/styling.
I think you are a little too young to be worried about having your hair straight every day. Wouldn't it be more fun to style it different ways? Straight some days, naturallly curly some days, etc. Don't be so hung up on looking like all the other girls at school. Be individual, be yourself. You can create trends that other's might want to follow.
Yes, there are many shampoos, conditioners and styling products specifically formulated to straighten your hair. However, even after using these products, you still need to take time to blow dry your hair straight. Most of these type products are professional products that you would be able to find at a professional beauty supply store or a beauty salon. (Back to Basics %26amp; Pureology are 2 specific brands to check out)
idk how to make it straight but i think curly hair is beautiful and u can put mouse in it right after u get out of the shower and then scrunch it and then let it air dry= BEAUTIFUL CURLS
There is a kingd of straightener that doesn't burn your hair though!I use it ! My hair is silky and beautiful! I think the straightener was from sally's ! But they might be expensive ! that is the only advise i could give you. And I have never heard of a shampoo that straighten yor hair either!

Does Eco Professional Ceramic Straightener work?
Yes! I just got one a few days ago, and it works great. You only have to go through each section of hair once. Plus, it's really good for your hair. I've been using it since I bought it, and my hair is a lot softer and shinier. It's a great investment.Does Eco Professional Ceramic Straightener work?
Hi,
Yes, I do have it. I tend to use them at night because I worked hard and used ponytail. Then I had no time to get shower after work to fix my hair to be straighten. I used this and it eliminated my bumps from ponytail. It works great! i love it! I m still learning how to use wave or flip.

I have a ceramic straightener but it does not work good.?
i got the conair ceramic straightener and when i finish straightning my hair its straight but when i get to school it gets puffy and wavy. so i need to know if its the the name or if im using it wrong.I have a ceramic straightener but it does not work good.?
conair sucks ***. never use that brand. buy the stylix revlon, it's only like 25 dollars and it's ceramic. it works really good, believe me, my hair is super culry and people actually ask me if ie's naturally straight! and buy the paul mitchell anti frizz serum, that works well too.I have a ceramic straightener but it does not work good.?
Use something that will protect your hair from the heat and also make it lay down and look more sleek, when i flat iron my friends thin hair i use thermalsilk smooth and sleek straightening creme. It feels and smells great!
Well it depends where you live. It coulbe the humidity or it could be that the straightener does'nt work
Well, just to tell you, Conair is a terrible brand. You should use a professional hair straightener like a HAI, or a CHI. You should also buy some anti-fizz serum like pureology. Definately go to a hair salon to buy these things!
its not the money u put into the straightiner, I bought a cheap ceramic one at walmart and it works just as good as the one my stylist uses.
Try using a wax to help the hold, regis has great products, my hair has never been so straight! and it stays that way when I do it.
I have severely curly thick hard to deal with hair... and that works for me.
You need a better straightener but they're usually over $80 on ebay.
i have a really good cetamic flat iron and its called the remington t studio collection. the plates are i think 2 inches so you can grab more hair at one time so it'll take less time. but if you want a really good one, buy a chi. they are really expensive but work really good.
Hi Alexandra, You didnt mention if you live in a high humidity area. That can be sooo hard to keep hair straight in. Try using a product for use with flat irons..they are heat activated and help keep humidty out. Bet that will help. Ill bet you iron is fine. GL.
i had that i HATED it. it doesnt work and damges your hair to the maxxxx. i now have to the sedu which is AMAZING. but only if youll spend 125 on an iron lol. ill give you the sitehttp://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1/a>
good luck
u need an industrial style ceramic straightner I.E profeesional one becasue i've had the same problem but the thing is that there gonna be a lil pricey but i think its worth it
Try using a product that will help the ceramic straightener or you could get the one advertised on the tv called:TrueCeramicPro and Sears puts it out on there web site: www.searsconnect.ca

Will a titanium/ceramic straightener damage my hair?
I have just started using a straightener....woooohooo!!... And I keep hearing not to use it often, as it will damage my hair. T/F? I hope it is not true! Will a titanium/ceramic straightener damage my hair?
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CERAMIC PLATES?
Ceramic plates distribute an even heat preventing hot spots on the iron which can burn hair. Ceramic plates are smooth and will not chip or peel. They work to prevent static electricity, smooth and seal the hairs cuticle, eliminating frizz and add shine to hair.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TITANIUM PLATES?
Like ceramic, Titanium also produces an even distribution of heat, prevents static electricity, smooths and seals the hairs cuticle and add shine. There are a few benefits that Titanium has over Ceramic being Titanium is an extremely durable metal which is scratch resistant and light weight.
Even though titanium and ceramic hair straighteners do less damage to the hair than regular plastic hair straighteners, unfortunately all hair straighteners damage hair a little bit. When you apply heat to healthy hair, it drys out your hair, and over long term use, your hair can become very limp and lose its natural shine. However, don't despair! My advice is that you should not straighten your hair every day. It is a very hair-damaging habit. You might find this gross, but straightened hair doesn't curl again unless exposed to water.... so maybe you can go a day without taking a shower if you are really desperate. Also you should condition your hair daily. Lastly, I think natural curls are beautiful. I have naturally straight hair and I really wish I had some pretty curls, but I can't curl my hair with a curling iron to save my life. Lol...Will a titanium/ceramic straightener damage my hair?
That is so true it really gives you split ends like crazy but it is so addicting, try geting some sort of therma seal productcolor cosmetics
