Is it realy ok to iron your hair if your using a ceramic hair iron?

Some people have more sturdy hair than others, but continued exposure to high levels of heat will damage just about anyone's hair. Check out some hair products that are formulated to help protect hair during styling - and don't use heat on your hair everyday. Trust me.Is it realy ok to iron your hair if your using a ceramic hair iron?
It's not really healthy, for your hair... but, it's alright, to use a flat iron sparingly. If you're really worried about your hair, make sure to get some heat protection spray that's made for this specific reason. Is it realy ok to iron your hair if your using a ceramic hair iron?
they will ALWAYS tell you that a flat iron is 'okay' for your hair. gold plated, jade, ceramic, ALL of them are 'good' for your hair but the truth is that its literally burning your hair to your liking and once a week is dangerous enough. anything more will rob you hair of its natural moisture. the safest way to go about flat ironing is to go to the lightest settings but it all depends on your texture. for instance my hair doesn't get as straight as i like it to until i get to the last setting. which is horrible but i rarely flat iron my hair any more. remember that the heat will dry out you hair and rob it of the natural oils and can cause split ends and some serious breakage
i have a chi one, and its alot better than other flat irons, because its ceramic and stuff, but yea it still kinda burns ur hair a little. so ur better off getting a ceramic one than a normal one, but they both burn ur hair.
No, its still burning it into shape.

What's the difference betwen a SOLID ceramic hair-iron and a TOURMALINE ceramic?

Price. One is more expensive than the other because its for more hard to straighten hair.

  • Curlmaster Ceramics Straightening Iron or JDL Ceramic Hair Iron?

I have 4a texture hair and I want to buy a iron that will not pull my hair. Which iron is better?Curlmaster Ceramics Straightening Iron or JDL Ceramic Hair Iron?
The best straightener for any hair type is CHI!!! they are amazing but a lil' pricey

Curlmaster is a good brand as far as I know, I use one of their ceramic curling irons and they are not as expensive

I want to invest in a ceramic hair iron. What are the best brands to buy?

';Invest'; being the key word here - good thing to not waste $ (and hair) on a cheap Conair.

Mine's by Hai and was recommended by my stylist. $100-ish at beauty supplies.

Edit: not a bad price on the one below.I want to invest in a ceramic hair iron. What are the best brands to buy?
chi is the bestI want to invest in a ceramic hair iron. What are the best brands to buy?
Chi is good but there is a generic that compares that I just bought for 60 bucks.
despite what peple say CHI is NOT the best anymore. Sedu is. Followed by GHD and Solia, then Chi. CHI isnt a bad one by any means, juts nto the best anymore. We have both a Sedu and a Chi and everyone prefers the Sedu.
I personally love gold and hot products.
I will agree with several of the others, the Chi is awesome. It's heats up in seconds and works so well.

It's around $100, but it's worth the investment. There is also a warantee of some kind.
you cand beat ghd there expensive but sooo worth it, i couldnt live without mine
GHD's - they are the GOD of all Hair Irons!

They are pricey but the best out there!

Most celeb stylists use them and you can create curls/waves aswel as supere sleek hair!

    I Love mine!
if your looking for affordable and reliable... then i would go with a revlon. theyre about 30 bucks and last forever!! and they do a good job even though there not the fancy named 400 dollar ones.

Which Ceramic Hair Iron Is The Best?

I have a pretty good flat iron currently, its a Remington-Wet-To-Straight, but I was wondering what other ones were better. I have naturally curly hair that is a little ways past my shoulders and is fairly thick. I can usually straighten it to look the way I want it to, but when it is humid or wet out, it curls right up. I was looking into the Kiyoseki Hairstyler, and I was wondering if that was a good investment or not. Thanks!Which Ceramic Hair Iron Is The Best?
They kiyoseki has actually burned chunks of people's hair off. Scary..

I recommend the Sedu or the Ozonhair.. folica.com is having a sale right now on the Sedu. They have tourmaline plates which are a moisture attractor and will make your hair shinier and also healthier.

    Check out these websites

    folica.com and ozonhair.com

Well within an affordable price range :)Which Ceramic Hair Iron Is The Best?
I don't know what a Kiyoseki is, but I have a CHI and I love it! It gets my hair PIN straight with little effort!

But when it gets humid, my hair curls up too, so I use Herbal Essences, None of your frizziness smoothing leave-in creme.

It smells great, doesn't make your hair weighed down or greasy, and keeps my hair straight all day, even in humidity!
The pink ceremic styler called Pro Select is the best! it works wonders. And its only about 20-30 dollars at Marshals. OMG its better than the ones u buy for 200! TRUST ME! ITS AMAZING
I have a CHI and like it. I dont know anything about the Kiyoseki.
try the chi! look up vids of it on youtube, i dont have one, but so many people say it works really well!

What damages can be caused if i always use my infrared ceramic hair iron for straightening my hair everyday??

what can be the damagaes caused? and how can i prevent it? i need to use it everyday...What damages can be caused if i always use my infrared ceramic hair iron for straightening my hair everyday??
They weaken, tend to dry and break. In conclusion: it damages your hair!

My wife just bought a Shiruku Ceramic Hair Iron, Can the heat damage her hair?

She bought it off Ebay the seller has high positive ratings, and others have reviewed this product highly as well. but i thought i've heard that using heating irons often can damage the hair? is this true?My wife just bought a Shiruku Ceramic Hair Iron, Can the heat damage her hair?
Any type of heat styling can damage and dry out hair. Even blow drying can do it, there's no way around that but there are products she can use to prevent and treat breakage or damaged hair. She can use a pre-styling product specifically made for heat styling. most brands you find in the stores offer a heat styling product. She can also make sure she is using a shampoo and conditioner that prevents and treats damaged hair. I would highly recommend using Dove Intense Therapy (dark blue bottles) shampoo and conditioner. This treats damaged hair and prevents it. It also moisturizes your hair without weighing it down. So she can do heat styling, just take care of her hair in other aspects to prevent the damage. My wife just bought a Shiruku Ceramic Hair Iron, Can the heat damage her hair?
Any kind of heat styling -will- damage the hair, there's not really a way to go around it.

You can minimize damaging with products designed to protect the hair - a serum can be applied before ironing to reduce direct contact to the hair (the iron burns the serum instead of the hair, basically).

Some shampoos and conditioners are ';heat-activated'; and claim to work with the hair as it's being heat-styled, further reducing the damaging effects. I don't have any personal experience with these kinds of products, but it might be worth looking into. (I know Tresemme has a line like this)

Getting regular haircuts will also improve the overall health of the hair, getting rid of the dead or split ends will make ironed hair look that much better.
This is very true. Almost any kind of hair iron whether it straightens or curls, will damage your hair. But there are ways to prevent the iron from damaging it so much. She should use protective sprays on her hair before straightening it and that should help some. You can buy it basically anywhere and its not very expensive.
yes, it can damage hair very easily and it is not the best styling product on the market,

what she needs is a rotating curling iron that can circulate the heat all around and use as much time as shee needs.

damaged hair can affect your health also, as burn the foullicule and make a bald spot if she got it close enough to her roots.
no matter how powerful the iron is it can always do damage so thats why its best to protect your hair. i use TRESemme heat tamer protective spray (black bottle, red lid). its in a spray bottle so its easy to use. just sprits and straighted. and deep condition hair once a week in addition but this is not as nescisary. but you should always use the TRESemme before culing, straightening or blow drying
Yep! Any kind of straightner will damage and fry your hair if you don't use protectors. If there is a Sally's hair supply by you, have your wife go there and buy some hair protectors. Or any drugstore would probably carry them too. The worse time to straighten your hair is when you get out of the shower and straighten it while your hair is wet too.
well think about it, she's squishing her hair in between two 140 degree ceramic plates. Of course it's going to fry her hair after a while.

I straighten my hair every day but if you use a protective serum it won't cause as much or any damage.
Of course it damages your hair ! remeber one year i had all these split ends and stuff and i had to chop em off. Well .. if you use them once in a while its not as bad but it deffietly damages your hair if you use it alot and it slows down the growth of your hair .

Good luck, Hope i helped !
anything with heattt liek curling iirons blow dryers heat curlers damages your hairr get a solution to put on your hair before you straighten that way less daage is donee

and the hotter she usesd it on the more danage is being done try to limit the strighteing to onec in ahwhile
yes but she can protect it by using hair products that specialize in guarding your hair from heat damage.
yes but she should get this spray you spray on your hair to protect from the iron

How much is the ceramic hair iron in the philippines?

I heard that ceramic hair iron can take off the split ends and i am interested to buy one. I am from Philippines and i just wanted to ask how much is ceramic hair iron here. How much is the ceramic hair iron in the philippines?
my mom bought one in watsons for about 1500 pesos.

but you can try to find a cheaper one in st francis square.

baka mga 800 lang or something.

:)How much is the ceramic hair iron in the philippines?
first off ceramic hair irons MAKE split ends after a long time of usage. you're better off not using one at all. the straighteners make your hair really brittle and dry, especially if you have asian hair like me...but if you really want to go for it, then sure...the cheap but good ceramic irons in america costs around $25-30. but i would see it'd be a lot higher in the Phillippines since i dont think they make hair ironers there. but good luck..

  • Are the solid ceramic hair irons safe for everyday use?

They are safer overall , but if you need everyday use, then please use a flat iron prep spray to protect your hair, use the lowest heat setting that will achieve your desired results, and move the iron from one section to another : don't re-iron the same piece of hair over and over again. Are the solid ceramic hair irons safe for everyday use?
No, you should never use heat on your hair everyday.

Why are ceramic hair irons better than steel?

IT heats evenly and that is so so so much better and it dont cool down in some spots like metal and yes it decreses the static elec. And it will fuss your dead ends insted of burnning themWhy are ceramic hair irons better than steel?
um new technologyWhy are ceramic hair irons better than steel?
it is a very poor conductor of heat!
they dont fry your hair, and they can get hotter
    less damaging to your hair
Because they can get hotter I think.
The heat is held at a better level without skipp's on the flat plate. There's no HOT spots.
Ceramic hair irons heat up faster and they are safer. Steel has a tendency to burn you hair and take longer to heat up.
ceramic stratners have a spechaeal coating so you dont burn your hair like you do with steel stratners
I have a ceramic hair iron and let me tell you it is the best thing, specially if you iron you hair a lot, not only does it not damage your hair as much as an steel but it also heat up fast and you don't have to go through it over and over again but the one thing you have to be careful with when buying one is to make sure that it is not ceramic plated because the ceramic plated ones work the exact same way the steel ones do!

Does anyone know how to clean gold n hot ceramic hair irons?

I have a Gold N Hot ceramic 3 barrel curlikng iron, and i used it to wave my hair and it has a lot of residue from me spraying oil sheen and sprits on it, it looks gross! I do not know how to clean it and I do not want to ruin it! It also has a lot of hair stuck on it from the spritz any logical suggestions that will not ruin the iron?Does anyone know how to clean gold n hot ceramic hair irons?
Hair Relaxer...my aunt is a beautician and i saw her do it at the shop one day...just apply it when the irons are not on (cool) let it sit for a minute and wipe it off. It should work...the chemical break down all of that old residue.Does anyone know how to clean gold n hot ceramic hair irons?
Not 100% sure, but what if you put some shampoo on a wet cloth, and just wiped them down when they was cold. And I'm sure Ive seen cleaners for them somewhere, not sure where though.
try wiping it with a cloth soaked in hot water.

Are there ceramic hair irons that turn off by themselves or have a timer?

i leave my iron on all the time and that is not good it can burn things...

Where can i buy one that either turns itself on after reaching a certain heat? or has a timer?

Have a link to one?Are there ceramic hair irons that turn off by themselves or have a timer?
Yes there are a lot of brands that have the automatic shut off feature now. They shut off after a certain amount of time. Here is a link to a Conair on amazon (scroll to the bottom for the description). Are there ceramic hair irons that turn off by themselves or have a timer?
I don't have a link, but I have a ceramic iron from Wal-mart, It's very inexpensive. It's called Wet-To-Straight. I have curly hair and it straightens my hair amazingly straight and it cuts off by its self in 1 hour. It has different temperatures, and you can straighten your hair wet and it will dry it and straighten it! Its so amazing, I would recommend it to anyone!

Oh and its by conair!! =]
My straighteners are GHD they turn off.
a bunch of them do that now.
ive never heard of one like that but it would b very useful

How important are watts when it comes to ceramic hair irons?

There are some with very little watts and then there are some with a lot of them. Are they important when it comes to choosing an iron??How important are watts when it comes to ceramic hair irons?
well, the amount of watts determens how hot the iron will go. soo usually, the more the better... because heat is what straightens... or curls the hair.

goodluck. How important are watts when it comes to ceramic hair irons?
the better the wattage the hotter it will get and the better it will straighten thick, coarse or curly hair. it will also melt bleached, damaged or super fine hair.

professionals need the ones that control the temp. with.
try chi it goes up to 450-500 degrees cost like 150-175 dollars its works well or if you want a good brand a little less cheaper go to sallys and they have a iron called titanium tools its like 50 bucks but it goes up to 450 degrees

What are some good hair straightners.?

I REALLY need a new hair straightner.

One that keeps youre hair straight for the whole day.

    Kinda cheapish, under 100 mabey.

Any suggestions? What are some good hair straightners.?
Well.... the CHI straightener is a really good straightener, or there is the GHD which is FANTASTIC haha but its really expensive. Conair also sells straighteners that keep your hair straight and nonfrizzy the entire day; those are probably the least expensive out of all of those options. I would recommened the Conair for an inexpensive straightener and one that keeps your hair straight all day, especially if you have thick hair. But CHI, if you have thinner hair. What are some good hair straightners.?
The CHI straightener is nice, and its around $100. They also come in really cute different colors.

Ive seen this new really nice one, and the plates are made of titanium, and it puts moisture back into your hair and makes your hair unbelivably soft. It also heats up in a matter of seconds. I dont know what its called, but I think its pretty expencive.
Best one ever. Better than a Chi.

I live in Florida and during the summer in the humidity my hair doesn't come undone.

I've read some reviews that say they rip you off, but I bought one and very very very pleased with the results.

It's 100% ceramic plates so it doesn't damage nearly as bad as most straighteners.

They're a little pricey (I payed about $140) but they have them on ebay for like $30
i have one and it's called sunbeam it is the best one i have ever had it has lasted a long and you get a guarantee of 2 to 3 years its exactly 100 dollars but it does the works with hair that is curly still straight and it great i got mine at clive Peters just ask and you will see it

That's what it looks like. I know it's tiny, and I thought the same thing cause I have thick hair, but it works so much better then the bigger ones. What are some good hair straightners?
I have a Sedu, and its great because although other straighteners straightened my hair, it would be frizzy and would start to get wavy again after a few hours.

Based on the sites I looked at before I bought my straightener, CHIs seem to break more easily. I have never owned one so I am not sure. They are good straighteners though, if you take care of them.

straighteners from Target or Walmart should work fine, they might leave hair a little less silky than more expensive ones. but if you do go for a cheaper one, go for one that is ceramic.
Chi hair straighteners are really good (i've had one ...but they don't last forever and there expensive) so when mine ';went'; I bought on from target its a remmington and it does work really well I have very think hair and it straightens it perfectly...so ya my point is you could just go to target to get one instead of buying an expensive one.
Well I bought the instyler and it straightens my hair really well but it doesnt curl it well

I also have the maxiglide and that works the best. My hair is silky smooth after I use it and my hair is really frizzy and hard to straighten

i actually have a chi right now..

but for xmas i'm going to get an iso..

but i think you should either get a chi, iso, or revlon. they all work good. What are some good hair straightners?
Ceramics are definitely better because they evenly distribute the heat so less damage is done. And I don't suggest a chi because I had one for only a year and it broke for no reason. I suggest a Paul Mitchell they are truely amazing and last FOREVER!
ceramic is much better, it evenly distributes heat to your hair and causes less damage, I have a CHI for 2 years now, works just as great as the first day :)

well 80-100 can be pricy!! and not all hair striaghteners are reliable!

i suggest the remington wet2straight! it's only 25; and your probably thinking i wouldn't buy that!! but it's REALLY good! trust me!! it doesnt damage hair and i've been using it every day! :]

i got a conair wet2straight with ceramic plates for christmas and my hair is a pain in the butt..

i couldnt find a straightener that worked for the longest time..

but this one works wonders for me..

took me 10 minutes to straighten my hair when it was down to the middle of my back and my hair is thick!!

    so i think its amazing

and you can use it on wet or dry hair!!

and it hasnt dried my hair out at all.
    Ceramic is better

CHI (only if you have thick hair- don't make the mistake like i did if you have thin hair!! it will damage it)

    Sedu (completely perfect ^_^)

PHI (A cheaper alternative to the CHI but with same quality.. 30$ at TJMaxx)

    FHI (ok)

Protouch(Love it %26lt;3 lets out a lot of steam!)

All of these brands will make your hair very shiny and smooth. I personally think Sedu does a better job regarding shine and smoothness then the rest; I tried all.

DONT! DO NOT! BUY A CHI!

1). they are expensive and they break like hell.

2). they are not infused with silicone (they only have a silicone coating) which wears off and will fry your hair like HELL

3). unless you want to be coating your straightener with ollive oil everytime you use it do not get a chi. and plus that makes your hair smell and feel gross so NO pleasssse dont get a chi

seriously i just use a plain cheap connair hair straightener. i have (not to be concieted) but what people tell me gorgeous hair. and i straighten my hair EVERY day. this straightener gets hot enough to make my thick hair tamed and it doesnt give me split ends.

    http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104鈥?/a>

its only 25 dollars. but it will break in about a year. but come on. its 25 dollars so its cool. and a year is pretty long for a straightener. i have gone through three of these in the last 4 years and i keep buying it becaus i love it :)

you can get it anywhere like cvs target wallgreens rite aid kmart anywhere
I don't think the make matters, but GHD ones can make your hair pretty straight for about 7-14 days, very good, you can get them ranging from 拢80 onwards. I'd give them a 9, as they are not the best type you can buy, and you need to put a bit of pressure on them to get the best hairstyle, but if you look up ';GHD's'; on Google Shopping you should be able to find one that you like.
everyone on here is saying buy GHD or chi.

honestly, i don't really care for those. i bought my 3rd straightener last year, at sally's beauty supply, for only $30. it's called HeatMaster, and it works WONDERFULLY! I'm being dead serious. it heats up INSTANTLY, i've counted the seconds [because i have no life,] and it takes 6 seconds to heat up to the highest point. i'm in LOVE with it.%26lt;3

dont straighten your hair on aregular basis. it will turn rough and coarse. but if you must buy a new straightner for occasions then go out there and look at the various brands available and choose the one that suits your style and pocket.

    Good Hair Straightners???

I have the Remington Wet to Straight straightner. It works really well, you can even use it after you take a shower when your hair is wet!Good Hair Straightners???
I just got the new Sedu Professional w/ nano technology and i love it! It's a bit expensive but it's a very nice iron. I've had Conair and Solia but didn't like them. My hairstylist uses GHD and they're really good but they cost around $200.Check out folica.com for reviews. It's a great website-fast and free shipping, hassle free returns, reviews and advice!Good Hair Straightners???
Heat activated straighteners work well, if you're using a flat iron. I've used several brands--KMS, Matrix--check a local salon.
Chi are the best kind. it leaves your hair really shiny, and it straightens it great. its what most beauticians use.
Go to Folica.com and you can see all kinds there and read reviews. They have pretty good prices. I bought mine there (it's a Solia) and it works pretty good every single time. I've had it for over a year and it still works like the first time. They say CHI ones are really good too. you should go on that site. The reviews really helped me make my decision and i'm sure it will help you. Good luck!
corioliss .. i think that is the spelling but they do have a website and you can order one online? just look it up on google .. its amazingly worth it and it straightens so well
u can get it a superwalmart or k-mart or at the mall i am not sure were i seen it but pretty sure they r at superwalmart cuz that is where my friend got hers.

the remington wet 2 straight...gosh its so perfect
My hair is coarse and curly. Paul Mitchell is the ONLY one for me for about $129- don't forget the heat protectant spray!
It depends on what type of hair you have. If you have thin, easy to straighten hair, try conair flat irons. If you have wavy, thick, tangly or harder to straighten hair, you should definately try chi flat irons. They work on all hair types. The best one is probably Cricket flat irons though. They work great on every hair type and you can adjust the heat setting. If you don't want those for curlier hair, just get a good 1 and a half inch because one that is too big will leave a crease in the top of your scalp where your hair begins.
ohhh my gosh chi and wee chi and big chi are all awesome there the same type but different sizes. you can get one at ulta or a hair salon
I have latin curly hair that if it doesnt have gel or mousse it looks like an afro puff!!!! So take it from me, the FAROUK CHI is the best out of all the Chi's out there. Leaves ur hair silky, doesnt burn ur hair and u dnt have to blow dry, just air dry and str8en
GHD's are the best around but they are pretty expensive. I use rimmington wet2straight which I think are really good - just dont straighten with wet hair (even though that is the purpose) because it can damage your hair.

    Good Hair Straightners?

apart from GHD i am wanting to know some good hair Straighteners at a reasonable price. that do not damage your hair, and have a good heating Temperature. i am buying some after work today so best ans with price, make and model get 10points!!!! xGood Hair Straightners?
Before I had GHD'S I always used Remington ones. There are ones that are teflon coated and they are quite good. They are about 拢30 from boots. Good Hair Straightners?
Vidal Sassoon do some good ones for reasonable prices - I have really thick wavy hair and a lot of straighteners don't work in it but they do. Mine cost about 拢20 from Argos. Remember to use a straightening spray first - I like the Schwarzkopf one - it makes my hair so much straighter.
hi ya, iv got the remington ones they are buy far the best i think they are between 拢25-拢30 from boots or superdrug don't get the wet to dry ones they really damage the hair, it depends on how curly/frizzy your hair is , mines white proxide blonde and naturally staright but after years of bleach its gone a bit frizzy if i dont straighten it and the remington ones seem to be the best for that hope that helps x

  • Good hair straightners?

Okay, so i have curly hair and the hair Straightener I makes my hair like stiff and unmovable and for some reason, my face feels like really greasy at the end of the day when i straighten it. So basically what I asking if anyone knows any affordable hair Straighteners that makes you hair movable, where you can run your fingers thought it, doesn't damage it, and makes it look healthy.

by the way the hair Straightener im using now is a revlon ceramic that i got for like 30 dollars.

thank you. : DGood hair straightners?
GHDS are amazing and will give you great results everytime, however they are pricey!

Babyliss are also extremely good, nicky clarke will also give you a great look.

I would recomend Nicky Clarke and GHDs, never failed me, and i have VERY curly hair.

Hope this helps :)Good hair straightners?
AMIKA i looove loooooooooooove my amika! i bought it at the store and at the store they let me try it out! they tried straightens and flips and curls with it and itS AMAAAAAAAAAAZING! Please get it regular use actually makes ur hair HEALTHIER! But use a heat protectant...anyways it comes in awesome colours and also it works so good and heats up so ddaaaaaammmn fast. Sure its a little expensive...$200.....BUT BUT BUT b4 u start to worry....i got it for a deal. i bargained the guy to down to like 80 bucks. its relly good and if u dont trust my word go look at the website and all the videos and things.

    Good hair straightners?

My ghd's have given up after 4 years, im ragin cos they aren't the cheapest

Can anyone recommend a good pair of straightners, my hair has a kink to it so they need to be decent enough to keep my hair straight

    CheersGood hair straightners?
Get some new GHD's.. they are worth it :)

It's better to pay 拢100 for a really good pair which will last four years than pay about 拢60 for some which when you walk outside your hair turns frizzy and break down after a year :)

GHD's are the best :)Good hair straightners?
babybliss are very good, whatever you do, dont go with chii, although they work good, they break really easy, my friend bought one, had it for two weeks, then it just stopped working, and wouldnt turn on. she ended up paying shipping and handling to send it to get it fixed, she waited 2 months, and finally got a letter saying she needed to pay the shipping and handle fees again to get it back. when she finally did get it back they toold her that she shouldnt turn it off but instead leave it on at all times and just unplug it when its not in use, then use the reset button. kinda faulty mechandise if you ask me. i would deffinately go with babybliss
CHi. Kinda expensive, but atleast they work great, all others are imitation/generic - you can straighten and curl hair with it.

But if you don't want to pay the high price, then just make sure IT'S CERAMIC %26amp;%26amp; that the temp. setting is very high.

good luck. ;) and make sure to use heat protectant.
I use CHI, not sure if you have it there, but it works well with my thick curly hair. CHI straighteners only break if you don't take proper care of it. My step mom had hers for a while then gave it to me which was 4 months ago. It still works perfectly.
ION hair straightner. its the best and it works great. not only will it defrizz, add shine and moisturize it will make it smooth. it is a lil pricey tho. but the price is nothing compared to the results. i recommend this for you to use. its awesome!
i use a kiyoseki they are $120 and you can check it out at www.kstyler.com it has variable temperature and makes my hair shiny and straight.
There are lots of good ones, but for keeping your hair straight all day, I recommend GHD. They are quite expensive but well worth it.
I am not sure if they have the brand CHI in the UK, but that's the one I use and it works well
    Remington, wet to straight.
Babyliss are very good. I have ones that go up to 220 degrees and they do me fine.
chi straighteners are really good but they are expensive...$150

    hope i helped
    GHD :)
CHI IS GREAT I LOVE IT ! AND SO IS BAYBLISS
I'd say go with the GHDs again - 4 years use is pretty good i reckon

    Good Hair straightners?

do u knw any good straightners i can get that arnt over $100, i have fairly thick hair! taGood Hair straightners?
Bedhead is probably the best straightener you can get for under $100. But if you're willing to save an extra $15, you should go to Folica.com and buy a Sedu. It's deffinately worth the money. It works great. But the Bedhead is decent too. Don't get the crappy brands like Revlon and Remington though, they don't work well with thick hair (:

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron

    From CHI

    Buy new: $70.74

    Product Description

Chi Original 1'; Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Model GF-1001 The CHI can be considered

one of the most versatile Hairstyling Irons on the market today. The CHI's ergonomic

design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.

The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal

in natural moisture. It's great to use prior to a Dry Haircut. The ceramic coated paddles

help prevent scorching hair color and helps reduce styling product build-up. Featuring an

extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside

the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are

recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will automatically heat up in less than 10

seconds. Temperature is preset at 150-180 degrees Celsius(302-356 degrees Fahrenheit)

    http://astore.amazon.com/beautyproduct07…
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

    Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

72 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1257 total reviews.

    Sedu:

24 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3814 total reviews.

    That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

    Take a look at this.

    http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh…

Note how CHI is number 7.

Note how GHD is number 4.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!

Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.
really good hair straightners are the really thin ones. i have very curly hair and the work great. there at target and under 100 dollars.
    I would say either

chi, maxiglide, or even remington or revlon

depends on which one you buy though
Maxius ';Maxiglide'; is good. It's like $99.
I use a Revlon one. I believe it was only $30 and it works great.
    i use chi

i have long, wavy hair. my 2 inch flat iron by t remington doesn't take care of it at all. it lets off a horrible smell and damages my hair. are there any good 1 inch flat irons for under 30 bucks?Good hair straightners?
These steps should help you get better results.

    1. After you wash your hair apply 1 or 2 pumps of sealing serum.

    http://www.alteregousa.net/Leave_in-c-de鈥?/a>

    2 While it's damp/dry use 2'; wet 2 straight remington

    http://www.amazon.com/Remington-Straight鈥?/a>

3 After it's straight and dry, apply 2 pumps of serum to hair. Of course spread out in your hands first and pass even over the top of your hair. Throughout the day either comb or brush with a paddle brush, less risk of fly away hair.

    http://www.purespadirect.com/LUXOR-Tourm鈥?/a>

For the rest of the week use Tourmaline flatiron to maintain and repeat step 3.

    http://www.discountbeautycenter.com/Appl鈥?/a>

It may seem costly, but always think about it as an investment to yourself, it cost way more to go to a salon to have it done every week. Plus you feel better when you know you look good.

    Good luck!Good hair straightners?
sorry to say. but really good flat irons are a bit pricey. :/

but they are a good investment , so think about it like that.

    Good hair straightners?

what are some good hair straightners? I have heard of Chi and Sedu, are those the best? Which are better?Good hair straightners?
A sedu at folica.com works great!!!!!Good hair straightners?
Hi I went to the salon a few months back and I asked to have my hair straightened after the trim so I can see the perfection more easily. I do this when going to have a trim as my hair is naturally curly and frizzy. The lady in the Salon used FHI straightners on my hair, when I asked her what they were.

My hair was like chinese hair so soft and baby straight. I had never seen this effect before. She also said she prefered them to GHD's

The huge demand for GHD's puts them on the market for very close to 拢100 and over when FHI's still sell for 拢50 as not many people have heard of them. They have the same effect Guaranteed and you will save 拢50+ and be so satisfied. It is also difficult buying GHD's now as there are so many fakes so to save money on the demand I would definately invest in a pair of FHI's I havent got around to it yet as I usually wear my hair curly and dont have the time to straighten but I will definately buy them as apose to GHD's
yes, chi and sedu are the best in a sense, but you can find a really good one at a drugstore too. Look for ion plates, not ceramic. And one that you can control the heat setting. Try the Conair Infiniti. Its about 40 dollars, and it works really well.

    http://infiniti.conair.com/catalog/categ鈥?/a>

that one is the one i'm talking about.
my friend has a REALLY good one. it is called the con-air infitaty (or something like that) my hair usually takes 2 hours to straightnen, but it was striaght in 5 minutes with this one!! it heats up to 400 degrees,so it works. the secret to it is a rock in side of it. the purpose of the rock is so that the straightner doesnt wreck your hair. it actually helps!

    %26lt;33
My friend has a really good straightner, and it is called wet to straight,i forgot the type it is.It works really well, and it is not that expensive.About $30.
You can find good Hair Weaving / Braiding / Styles / Extensions / Straighteners and their Shopping information at below blog. It will definitely help you. Have a look at it.

I used GHD's, and I believe they're the best pair of straighteners I have had.

Make sure you use a heat protecting spray before blowdrying/straightening your hair otherwise it'll crisp overtime.
A brand in england called GHD are really popular, and well trusted. im not 100% sure on the price, but if youre going to make an investment i'd go with these
GHDs are the best you can get.

i think the chi is really good but i dont have it.

Anyone know of any good hair straightners?

ok so i have wavy hair and i like to straighten my hair alot.

the only problem is that my flat iron (wet2straight by remington) just isnt cutting it anymore. when i straighten my hair, it ends up getting all stringy and curves and just doesnt want to go the way i want it.

i talked to the very nice woman that cuts my hair about my issue and she says i just need a better, more costly flat iron.

does anyone know of any really good ones? my price range is like 50-100 dollars.

maybe a little more.Anyone know of any good hair straightners?
SEDU works great but expensive like 80-140

you could also try chi but it works a lot better if you have thinner hair

Conair is the cheapest you an find it at target for 30 dollars it works for me but it doesn't work for everyone and it's poor quality

Bedhead 2 straightener works really good but to keep your hair from getting super damaged you have to buy the whole bedhead set and that can be really expensive Anyone know of any good hair straightners?
    AHH YESS

i use a flat iron called bioionic

    its 175 dollars buttt

    its amazing

its made to condition your hair as it straightens and it has different settings for different types of hair.

it will keep your hair straight allll dayyy

    and straightens twice as fast...

its amazing and it will leave your hair silky smoohth

and the best part is.. is that it DOES NOT fry your hair or break it like most flat irons do...

    i love it

and its definately worth the money.

Good hair straightners that aren't Chi?

I want a good and affordable hair straightner that isn't a chi. But I have a medium length in hair, so I don't want a small one. Where can I get a good hair straightner and what specific straightner do you reccomend? My hair isn't thick or thin and I'm trying to make it longer.Good hair straightners that aren't Chi?
the best straightener in the market is the Sedu! you can get it at Ulta or folica.com it's only about $115 but trust me it's well worth it! if you arent totally convinced..

here are some before/after pics-http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_r1鈥?/a>Good hair straightners that aren't Chi?
i have a remington tstudio tourmaline ceramic straightener that i purchased from target for about $36, and i love it! i can get my hair straightened in 10-20 minutes (depending on how picky i am that day or if i'm having a good or bad hair day)

so the tstudio has 2.25 inch ceramic plates (really big plates for getting your hair straightened fast). the temperature setting goes from between 100-375 degrees (i usually don't set it higher than 140 degrees), and it heats up really quickly.

it leaves my hair soft, smooth, and silky!

    http://www.target.com/T-Studio-Tourmalin鈥?/a> (read more reviews here)

this is definitely a salon quality straigtener for a fraction of the price. you really do not need an expensive chi, ghd, or sedu straightener to get amazingly straight, soft, and silky hair.

i would really recommend you try the remington tstudio.

(it comes with a 4 year warranty too)

I use Hot Tools this one with the curved (or double sided) plates is great for me as it give me versitility. If I want to wear it totally straight I can or if I want it to be sleek with some larger loose curls @ the end (Simliar to Kim Kardashian and many other celebs) I can do that as well. Or a multitude of varations in between (super straight -to- super curly/wavy)

I got it @ Sally I think and I know it was less then $50. My hair is just past shoulders and although I have alot of hair it is rather fine.

I am by no means a hairdresser or all that good with the styling tools *have had a few round brushes stuck in head =)

But I do find this to be a pretty easy to use iron
Well i have a solia. its 1 inch but u can get a bigger one.

its around 80 dollars and i think its way better then a chi.

one reason it is better then a chi is you can adjust the temperture. the highest it 470 and the lowest is 120 (i think :P)

I got my straightner at folicia.com. it's an awesome website to get hair and face products, and the shipping is free if you get something over 75 dollars :]
Do NOT get CHI. my family went thru 5 CHI in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get it fixed. Their warranty is worthless!

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recently announced a recall of Chi flat irons due to fire and burn hazards:

My hair is like really thick and wavy so its kinda hard to straightin it, so is there any really good hair straightners for my type of hair but sorta cheap?!Any good hair straightners?
Power IQ, or hot n gold (or what ever its called) but i have a power IQ, it has different heat settings on it for diff hair types and if it gets my hair straight...it can do yours... because I am black..LOL proof it gets my hair straight:

I have SUPER thick hair!!...i use a CHI...it wasn't too cheap but i hear theres a sale???!!!1....its awesome...i have the one inch and even that is easy to straighten my hair with...So imagine the fat width one...It was like the best thing that ever happened to my hair....
Go to Sally's beauty supply and get a ceramic one with a warranty for about 40 or 50 dollars. Best bang for your buck. Try the GVP version of the Chi straightener.
i have a chi it is amazing and expensive i also have a tigi it work great but not as good as the chi but my hhair still lookes good after it and the tigi is less expencive
The ';wet to straight'; works really well on my thick wavy hair! It's only about $25 at Walmart or target. It's not the most expensive straightener, but it's not the cheapest either.
basically anything that reaches 200 C or 400F is good

anything that doesnt get that hot wont work as well

also go for a thinner one

    like 1- 1 1/2 inch
th CHI is aaamazing, but exoensive and i also have a zoe, and its really good and much less expensive.
I LOVE my CHI Turbo! I have thick curly hair but people think my hair is naturally straight! But it is pretty expensive.
    chi or solica :P
croc works sooo well i have one!

In my my years of doing hair i have used many but the one that i own now and always will is a Chi iron. If your use small section and a heat protector then your hair will do great. I can get my hair to go for days by that one flating and my hair is curl, coarse, and thick. Just make sure you use the protector like you would with all irons. You dont want to damage your hair and dont flatten all the time. Give your hair breaks. What are some good hair straightners for my wavy ,thick hair ?any price is fine?
The GHD made my hair straight... and i like it a bit curly. I was told the treatemnt is good for thick hair.... well now i am not happy and can't straighten it cos i am 'bang'; heheh afraid of my hair falling out. but the GHD works.
ghds are the best straighteners i think! but blow dryin ur hair staright and using the right products will help! you can also get hair permanently straightened! hope this helps!
I have thick wavy hair too. and i have the pink solia. i think it was $85. i got it from folica.com.

Anyone know any good hair straightners?

i have really really thick hair. does anyone know of a straightner that would work for thick hair? please help!!Anyone know any good hair straightners?
other than a flat iron. . .i can only think of a gentle or childrens strenght chemicla relaxer. Have you tried speaking with a hair care professional for your type of hair??Anyone know any good hair straightners?
Ceramic flat irons are miracle workers. I have fine hair but its fairly dry. With my new flat iron fully ceramic not ceramic plated my hair has a natural shine to it, the guy says that ';the flat irons heats the hair from the inside which brings out the natural oils in the hair which gives it a wonderful shine'; **in a french accent haha**. I dont even use any glossers or sheens anymore I love it because i wanted shiny hair but with it being fine they would weigh my hair down. I don't have that problem anymore. It was the best $100 I spent in a long time...well my boyfriend spent! haha.
Go to folica.com! They are amazing. I buy all of my products on that website! It only takes like 3 days to get to you to. I would recommend a HAI or GHD straightener. A little pricey but totally worth it!
    MAXIGLIDE BY MAXIUS. $79
Helen of Troy is a really good brand they have ceramic which is better for your hair or gold plated. Ceramic is more exspensive but they range anywhere from $40-$60. Trust me its worth it! Hope this helps :)
I have this ceramic flat iron by Vidal Sassoon that works miracles! You can use it while your hair is wet and it softens your hair and straightens it way better than the metal kind. All my friends (we're all black) have used mine and after they did, ran out and bought one. I would also recommend a chemical relaxer that is made with olive oil called Organic Root Stumulator. Softens, relaxes your hair if its curly.
Well you can try the PHILIPS Geometricks 6 in 1 HP4696. It is really affordable (I bought mine at SGD59.00 several years ago) and it consists of 6 different styling attatchments that suits according to your needs-- from straightening to different types of curls.. Its pretty durable too =)

However, if you will like to concentrate on straightening your hair alone and do not mind to spend a little more $$, you may opt for a professional salon hair straightener. My mom bought this straightener from some salon retailers-- Inno Magic Flat Iron at SGD200++ and it is a Korean brand (Korea is known for its technology. I personally prefer to use Korean and Japanese products as they are more customised to suit Asian skin). You may find out more about this straightner from www.oohiro.co.kr (tel: 82-2-574-5188; fax: 82-2-574-5186).

However there are alternative solution to getting straight hair instead of using heat-stylers which may damage your hair in the long run and are a hassle to use to some lazy people (including me). Alternatively, you may try getting your hair rebonded with regular treatments at a good Hair Salon (eg Jean Yip, Super Cuts etc) or you may use hair serums/products that try to tame your frizz.

You can try using SunSilk's Silky Straight series (it works for me because my hair is naturally straight) or you may try Lucido-l (a pretty popular Japanese range of hair products). Lucido-l offers some hair products that help to straighten your hair-- Lucido-l silky straight hair wax, Lucido-l hair spray smooth coat, Lucido-l hair foam straight, Lucido-l styling jelly straight and Lucido-l Silky Straight Serum =)

    Hope this information helps =)
    get a CHI straightner

    they work greatttt :)
the CHI is the BEST. period! i have medium length medium thick hair... my mom has really thick wavy hair.. and we both use %26amp; LOVE the CHI!!
I had the same problem! I got some cheap Charles Worthington ones which were the best straighteners i had (unfortunately they broke)...

apart from that GHD's are pretty fantastic too, go for the wider ones which have a heat dial, so you can pick the exact temp.

I'd also recommend using serums and de-frizzers, it helps loads when straightening to get hair looking thinner and more controlled.
nothing in a bottle. get a flattening iron, a narrow one. part the hair in small sections and iron it out. its time consuming, but me being black, i have to do it eveytime i wash and dry it.

    DO NOT IRON WHEN WET!!!

    EVER!!!

    any ideas??

thankss :)Does anyone know any good hair straightners for cheap?
The CHI is definately worth the money and it lasts.Does anyone know any good hair straightners for cheap?
remington wet to straight STRAIGHTENER. don't use it on your wet hair tho, because ull damage it. it gets really hot super fast, and makes even the unruliest hair completely straight. i used mine in mexico, one of the most humid places in the world, on my extremely thick, frizzy, and curly hair, and it left my hair straight, frizz free, and silky.
Target. Me, my aunt, and my cousin got the same one. It's ';Conair, ceramic technology'; and it's only $20! It's awesome, It has 25 different heats or u can just use turbo and it get's really hot so ur hair straightens quicker. And another plus is that it has a removable comb tip so u get even better results.

It's perfect and it should be worth A LOT more cuz the results are AMAZING!!!

So it's at Target and it's $20! Not cheap product but a cheap price :)
i know you dont want walmart ones, but i got my sister a chi from walmart for $100 for christmas and she likes it. it must work pretty well bc she has really curly hair naturally and when she straightens it, its a straight as mine (i have naturally stick-striaight hair... it stinks)

Any tips on good hair straightners for wavey hair that dont break the bank?

GHD are goodAny tips on good hair straightners for wavey hair that dont break the bank?
iron your hair!! I DONT THINK SO!!! straightners are bad for your hair but ironing it is even worse. What ever you do do NOT get wet2straight straightners they are rubbish. i spent 拢80 on some and my hair is wavey again about 2-3 hours later. and they dont even straighten wet 2 straight very well. GHD are mena b good but they ';blow up/break'; easily and morphy richards mark something cordless ones are good. right now they are half price in boots only 拢49.99 i think. treseme spray for straightening is good also ones you can get in hairdresses are normally good. hope this helps xxxPPxxxAny tips on good hair straightners for wavey hair that dont break the bank?
yes go to the hairdressers with your big sis on thursday and use theres
somethig that doesn't break the bank is an iron... yes the stuff you use to get creases off clothes. You need help if you have short hair- but if you master it- i've seen this done on my aunt's sister in law- she lay down and her friend ironed her hair with the iron. It was excellent. Personally i wouldn't do it- but that's the least breaking the bank way i can think of for the moment
i have some babyliss ones they are brill got them from boots at about 拢45 -50
i have wavy hair and i have an infiniti one from conair. it was very cheap and it works very well. my hair is completely straightened in usually less than 25 minutes
I really like Vidal Sassoon ceramic...I got mine for like 30 bucks at walgreens and it works really well
    GHD is a good one
I have really wavey hair and I usually flat iron my hair after I wash it and condition it. Hair serum is good because it reduce the frizz and tangles of the hair. It is not expensive. Visit a local hair store.
Yea, ghd's are great, but cost alot of money, around 拢120 quid.

I got some Franson Futura straitners, there an italian make, but ask your hairdresser where you can get some from.

My hairdresser got them for me from the wearhouse where she gets her stock from for only 拢40 and they are fab, heat up in seconds and straiten my wavey hair in one go, dont have to keep going over the same section.
Use an iron. A nice iron can cost 5 quid.

Does anyone know where to get cheap but really good hair straightners?

i'm looking for hair straighteners that will not give me split ends and that are of good quality. i dont wish to be spending over 拢40 as it is my mum that is buying them and i think she would hit the roof if she has to buy another set of hair straighteners that break after 2 months of use again. so im looking for a reliable set that i can count on to protect my hair and to last a very long while. any suggestions?Does anyone know where to get cheap but really good hair straightners?
    Nicky Clarke.

You wont get a really good pair because your limit is 拢40 but if you can up your budget i would go with GHD.

:)Does anyone know where to get cheap but really good hair straightners?
mine are Remington. they cost 拢20 and they do the job fine. i have had them for about 2 and a half years and they are holding up. (i don't know what model they are- they are ceramic coated and come with a heat proof mat)

i don't think there's any straighteners that won't give you split ends.
Try remington they are amazing and are in your price range.

    Go to

    http://www.uk.remington-europe.com/conte鈥?/a>

Find one according to your hair type and get one from argos or boots.

Or order one online. They do protect your hair from split ends also.

I am not from england, or where ever you live, so I do not know exactly what 40 whatevers is worth here, but I think it is a bout 80. I suggest a nice basic conair. They work well and are like 20 bucks, or like 40 whatevers over there.

I've been trying to find a good hair straightner but haven't been able to find one.I'm on a budget of $50.00. I need one that will last a long time thoughDoes anyone know any good hair straightners?
All conair straighteners that ceramic work really well and they aren't too expensive(the cheapest $20 and the most expensive $50). Chi is also a really good name brand if you don't mind spending $100 or more an a straightener.

** To keep your hair from getting damaged go out and buy heat protection styling spray by tresame or nexus. Depending on the name brand it'll range from $5-$15 dollars.Does anyone know any good hair straightners?
try conair ceramic it works good on my hair get the red one cuz it has a comb to it
The Chi straightner is the best. But its 100 dollars. But It is worth the money. I have really thick hair and it straightend my hair flat.
    any ceramic would be best.

but absolutley to not use the wet to dry

straightner. it dosent work that well and

    it burns your hair.

    try conair or revlon one.

    those are very good.

i have had my conair and revlon

for over 4 years now and they still work

    great.

also you have to use the right products

with them to have the best outcome.

    but good luck to you

and i hope you find the right one.
The best professional one under 50 is the cricket str8 crazy iron. Try Trade Secret, or a salon could order it for you.
Any straightener is good if it's ceramic and you use the right products.
    corioliss pro
Whatever you do, don't get a wet to dry one because they make your hair very frizzy. Could you spend $57.99? If you could, then I suggest this one: http://conair-store.com/product_detail.a鈥?/a> . Otherwise I suggest this one: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a> or this one: http://www.folica.com/Tourmaline_Tool_r1鈥?/a>

It's what I use, keeps my hair straight ages, is cheap, and doesnt dry your hair out.

Plus it makes your hair really glossy. Dunno if you can get it in US though.
whatever you do do not use wet to dry straightner it fired and burns your hair!!!!!!!!!! Try and see if you can have $50 more so you can get a chi, becasue that is the only good straightner that will last a long time!!
the straightner i have is Revlon one. it is small, so can fit in your purse, but it works really well. i love it !
i just bought a cricket and i love it. my sister used it once and she loved it and she said it made her hair really soft so she went out and got one to. it under ur budget and ive also had many ppl before i got it tell me to get the cricket
DO NOT use the wet to dry, it burns your are, i would know ( =[! )

    i would suggest the chi

the chi is the best, because if you use it ALOT it wont burn your hair. and it doesyour hair fast

I've previously had a CHI but within one year it stopped turning on. I have thick curly hair and it's overall preformance was mediocre. I just recently purchased the babyliss pro and I would highly recommend it! It has a variety of heat seetings unlike the CHI and heats up extremely fast. I hope that helped!
    NOT CHI!

Anyone who has ever had one said it broke in 7 months or less, most have no temp dial, and they are damaging since the plates are only ceramic COATED, not full ceramic.

Sedu and Solia are the top two best flat irons sold. They are full ceramic, have a temp dial and are not very damaging.

the GVP i got for $60 and it works great!!!!!!!!!!!!! i luv it!
abliyss around 150 - 200 i would not go with a conair air one they just make ur hai frizzy go to a salon and then they can show u which i s a good one i have the same type of hair i use a abyliss and it is excellent makes hair shiny
conair, the yellow one is really good
Conair flat irons are always reccommended by top selling magazines, and since I also have one, I think it's the best too. If you have super curly or even wavy hair, it straightens it really fast, and it looks natural.

I have a Sedu, and it gets hot fast, and works really good, but my hair is fine.

My roommate has very thick and natural hair and she uses a Chi, and it works really good on her hair.

Personally I recommend the HAI ConvertAble, my friends has one and I use hers all the time, it works GOOD on pretty much any hair type, and is affordable for the quality it provides.

What stores sell really good hair straightners?

Not cheap ones that barely work, i need a good one. cant find one. What stores sell really good hair straightners?
If you have an ulta salon near you, go there and ask them for the chi's or for the tigi bed head rock star straightener (I have had both of these before, and they are excellent). The Chi is for perfectly pin straight hair, although it cost around 100-200 dollars, completely worth it. bed head rock star costs, i think 70 dollars and you just have to wait maybe three seconds at the ends for pin straight. [: Good luck finding a good straightener, it was hard for me too for a few years, until i fell in love with tigi and chi %26lt;3What stores sell really good hair straightners?

If u have a store around named Sally's that's the place to buy ALL of ur hair stuff. To straighten my hair I usea flat iron called Ceramic Tools. It's the porcelin series...it's by jibere de Paris...It has diffrent temperatures fro diffrent hair types. It gives you instructions on what tempereture you need. Good hair straightners?

I have pretty long, full, and thick hair. I have a bad hair straighter and it takes forever to straighten my hair! Also, after straightening my hair becomes frizzy, any good hair straighteners that will add shine and straighten your hair? Oh, and when I wake up my hair isn't a bunch of little curls or a mess of knots, sometimes I get temporary curls (the ones that become wavy after you brush) so nothing that bad. thanxx in advance.Good hair straightners?
CHI is amazing. I own one, as do all of my friends. I have had it for 3 years and it is still kicking. I makes your hair very shiny, just make sure to use a heat protectant! They get very hot!

    help me? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>Good hair straightners?
Well there are many products you can use that can help in the Straightening process. I get all of my products from www.stylebell.com. They have everything and give you brief descriptions of the hair type it works best. Im sure you will find something there.

I personally use Infinity by Conair, it is inexpensive but it works.
My friends hair is like that and my Paul Mitchell worked good on her hair along with a little bit of smoothing stuff. Her CHI works good too, but it doesn't have heat selection like Paul Mitchell
