Good Hair straightners?

do u knw any good straightners i can get that arnt over $100, i have fairly thick hair! taGood Hair straightners?
Bedhead is probably the best straightener you can get for under $100. But if you're willing to save an extra $15, you should go to Folica.com and buy a Sedu. It's deffinately worth the money. It works great. But the Bedhead is decent too. Don't get the crappy brands like Revlon and Remington though, they don't work well with thick hair (:

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron

From CHI

Buy new: $70.74

Product Description

Chi Original 1'; Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Model GF-1001 The CHI can be considered

one of the most versatile Hairstyling Irons on the market today. The CHI's ergonomic

design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.

The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal

in natural moisture. It's great to use prior to a Dry Haircut. The ceramic coated paddles

help prevent scorching hair color and helps reduce styling product build-up. Featuring an

extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside

the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are

recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will automatically heat up in less than 10

seconds. Temperature is preset at 150-180 degrees Celsius(302-356 degrees Fahrenheit)

CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

72 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1257 total reviews.

Sedu:

24 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3814 total reviews.

That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

Take a look at this.

Note how CHI is number 7.

Note how GHD is number 4.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!

Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.
really good hair straightners are the really thin ones. i have very curly hair and the work great. there at target and under 100 dollars.
I would say either

chi, maxiglide, or even remington or revlon

depends on which one you buy though
Maxius ';Maxiglide'; is good. It's like $99.
I use a Revlon one. I believe it was only $30 and it works great.
i use chi
