first off ceramic hair irons MAKE split ends after a long time of usage. you're better off not using one at all. the straighteners make your hair really brittle and dry, especially if you have asian hair like me...but if you really want to go for it, then sure...the cheap but good ceramic irons in america costs around $25-30. but i would see it'd be a lot higher in the Phillippines since i dont think they make hair ironers there. but good luck..
