Good hair straightners?

i have long, wavy hair. my 2 inch flat iron by t remington doesn't take care of it at all. it lets off a horrible smell and damages my hair. are there any good 1 inch flat irons for under 30 bucks?Good hair straightners?

2 While it's damp/dry use 2'; wet 2 straight remington

3 After it's straight and dry, apply 2 pumps of serum to hair. Of course spread out in your hands first and pass even over the top of your hair. Throughout the day either comb or brush with a paddle brush, less risk of fly away hair.
