Ceramic straighteners?

I'm thinking of buying one, but I don't want to spend over 150$.

Any suggestions? Please explain why you think the straightener is good.Ceramic straighteners?
They work great but make sure your hair is completely dry or you will singe it..... use a straightening balm with it and you will have amazing results. straight silky shiny hair...GLCeramic straighteners?
The Conair infinite is amazing. I know you're like oh conair thats cheap but it's really nice. I've had mine for a year and it still works perfect. It will give you a nice straigten and shine without overdrying your hair. Plus it was like $60
You can definately find a ceramic straightener at a beauty supply store. i got mine from sallys beauty supply %26amp; it was like not even $50.
Solia! If you buy this flat iron from folica.com it's only $88 + tax, shipping is free, and it comes with a free cooling mat.

I have one and love it! My mom also fell in love %26amp; was happy I convinced her to buy it. Definitely works for my thick, curly hair. Read the reviews. Some people say it's as good as a Sedu!

If you have curly, wavy, or thick hair I wouldn't recommend Conair because their straighteners will snag your hair.

EDIT: Oh yea, if you have thin hair that is kind of already straight (you just want to put in final touch) then it would okay to buy a straightener from Conair, Bed Head, etc.
