As for the best cheap straightener.. look for something that has tourmaline, titanium, and ceramic plates.. drugstore brand iron are likely to damage your hair more in the longrun and will make your hair frizzy after the rain.

The simple Conair hair straightener... the one black cool touch in the outside and gold in the insede... it's like 20 dollars
Just save the money for a Chi. It's worth it.
