Hi, I have pretty much straight hair but most of the time when i come out of the shower, my side bangs would usually curl backwards and so would my front. I tried using a blowdyer to straighten it, but it doesnt work so well. Im trying to get the look of like J-rock styles..like their hair looks soo smooth and straight. I was wondering if getting a straigtener will do the job and should i go for a expensive one (the one i have in mind is Paul Brown Hawaii Ceramic Flat Iron) or will any cheap one do the job? Suggestions on straighteners would help greatly!
Here is a example of what im trying to get at: http://cljrecords.com/cms/images/CLJ/administrator/clj/ayabie_t.jpgExpensive straighteners OR cheap straighteners?
i would get an expensive one because it's not only better for your hair, it will last longer and not break like the cheap onesExpensive straighteners OR cheap straighteners?
Not to be the know it all here but there are scientific tests that prove that people think that just because something is a bit more expensive than something else, its better, which for somethings its true and for others not. (i.e for most wine its not and for most pills either) Usually cheap irons leave your hair kind of stiff, and thats what it looks like in the pictures so maybe you should go for the cheap one. Irons are really weird though and you cant exactly tell by the price because it varies ALOT. If you want pin strait, smooth hair get an expensive one.
I have the same problem with my hair. I use the CHI. It works great and it does not damage your hair like the cheap can. CHI also makes a product called IronGuard or HeatGuard that supposedly protects you hair even more.
ok it dosnt always matter how much it costs but conair is really good and so is bed head
Well since you are only going to straighten certain parts of your hair then I would go with a cheaper straightener. What I recommend is that you get a straightener that works with wet hair they work pretty well on my hair which is very thick.
Hope this helped!!
Get a chi. It's the best investment I've ever invested in all of my 16 years of living. I used a Conair and it jacked up my hair.
The straightener will work great for your purpose. But do your hair a favor and buy the expensive CERAMIC flat irons.Anything else will damage your hair, leaving the layer of metal at your hair.
YOU SHOUlD GET A CHi. i HAD THE CHEAP KiND %26amp;%26amp; AFTER A WHilE THEY KEPT MESSiN UP ON ME SO i JUS GOT A CHi. iT WORKS GREAT. HEATS UP REAllY FAST.
Cheap ones don't work well. so i would suggest to get an expensive one.
Don't worry, its worth your money!!
yeah, the Paul brown ones are good. so is Chi
yeah if you want a better outcome you should get a more expensive one
the cheap ones suck;they just fry your hair
i recomed a Chi straightener. its like 150$
Remington Wet2Straight works wonders. So does the Chi.
You're better off with a cheap one, or you can just use a straightning serum or gel.
chii works good.
but also, http://www.remington-store.com/product_d/a>
- it has a button that you can push and it'll squirt out straightening serum while blow drying
I advise you not to use cheap ones.. they can make your hair dry and also cause hair fall... always use ceramic plates.. you may buy calor or babyliss straighteners..
