revlon or conairWhat is a good, cheap straightener to buy?
You don't want to mess around with most of the cheap straighteners. They have great ceramic irons at Sally's for about 40 or 50 dollars. Some of them are professional quality, and they may come with a warranty, which you WILL need. I promise! Even the Chi straighteners break before their warranty is up. Do not ever use an iron on wet or damp hair, even if it is a wet to dry iron. They flash boil your hair from the inside out.
Revlon may have a regular, ceramic straightener that will be ok if you just can't talk your mom into the ones at Sally's.
Forget it start saving your money. I bought cheap ones and they don't work all as they do is wreck your hair. A good straightener will come with a 10 year warranty. You need ceramic irons and your hair will be ruined. I have wavy hair to and believe me the cheap ones don't work.
chi is good but...
i would try mixed chicks products. their deep is a good pre treatment before blowing or applying an iron. also, mixed chicks is built to fight frizz if you are going curly, too. you can wash, condition, and go. i will put the site info below. good luck.
and i am with you on no chemicals!
You should go to Wal-Mart and the Andis Hair Straightener for $15 dollars. I use that and it works so good. It heats in less than 10 secons and has different heat settings. It can straighten hair, crimp hair, and curl. I reccomend you getting it. I hope I can help!
