I have started to wear my hair straight and really love having it flat ironed at a salon but it is expensive to do on a regular basis. I bought an inexpensive one at Walmart but it just doesn't straighten my hair enough and seems to overdry my hair where the ones at the salon don't. Can you recommend one that works well but isn't too terribly expensive. Thanks.Flat irons for hair - what is a reasonably priced but good one.?
Well, there are alot of good ones, so i'll tell you the bad ones.
These are things that you want to avoid when buying a flat iron:
Below $30 (I have seen $8 ones at a store once)
Mentions anything about steam
Dries your hair
Metal Plates
You want a ceramic one that just straightens. Steam blisters your hair and damages it alot. Metal plates burn your hair.
Hope this helps!Flat irons for hair - what is a reasonably priced but good one.?
Get one thats CERMAIC, and heats up quickly so it doesn't kill your hair
I think if your going low budget, these would be your best bet
