I am new to this flat iron thing but my daughter wants one. She is wanting a CHI. My stepdaughter has one and her CHI is black and she is telling me that the black one is the best, but my daughter wants a colored one, and I don't know if there is a difference in quality or heat in any other color than black.
I really don't want to get a black one, because she might try to trade with her, hoping no one will notice, since she is wanting a new one too.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I don't mind spending 90.00 but I want it to last a while also. I am hoping color doesn't change the quality or heat in a CHI.
THank you all for your help. What is the most reasonable to pay for a CHI flat iron for hair?
the color doesnt change the price, at least it shouldnt. if you buy it online you will undoubtedly get it cheaper. At trade secret in the mall, they sell it for 129.99.
heres one for 75 dollars.

and it is a very reliable site. What is the most reasonable to pay for a CHI flat iron for hair?
CHI hair straightener is one of the renowned Hair Straightener. You can easily purchase CHI straightener. The price range is $79.99 to $99.99 here http://www.hairstraightenersiron.com
I got mine for 59.99 on ebay.
If you want it to last long getting a chi is NOT the way to go.
Chi's are notorious for having a wiring problem and dying quickly. Not to mention the fact that chis run on old technology and there are way better irons out (like solia for example).
If you absolutely have to get a chi, dont buy one online unless its directly from chi and they give you a warranty (although i believe folica.com provides a warranty as well).
If I were you i would buy one from a salon or beauty supply that will replace the iron when it shorts out (which trust me, it will, i went through3 of them in 2 months, but I didnt have to pay for them because the salon kept exchanging them).
My other piece of advice is get good heat protector. Like I said, chi's run on old technology and it WILL cause damage to your daughters hair.
If you can by chance find a chi made in korea, get that one. The new ones are made in Texas and they really are bad quality, but the made in Korea ones are better.
I personnally found that there is a difference between the different chi's, but that may just be me.
if you need more help, feel free to let me know.
