by buying cheap straighteners you will NEVER be satisfied with them, and you will keep buying another one whenever you think yours isnt good enough, and end up spending more than you could just spend on a GHD which will last you and work very well, seriously it's the best.Where are there some real cheap straighteners?

sally beauty has gvp straighteners. they are supposed to compare to the chi but i have a gvp and a chi and the gvp is so much better and they're on sale at sally's for $60
you can get cheap straighteners at ur local supermarket i got mine for just 20 dollars and it works great takes like a few minutes to heat up
although if you really want to straighten your hair really well save up and buy a really good one its worth it

Save yourself the money and buy a $40.00 Conair one.
You can get them nearly everywhere, and they have ceramic plates,
Which is always a bonus.
Just make sure to use a heat protection spray; I use the Tresemme kind.
If you have a Sally Beauty Supply around, you can get a generic chi for like $60 ...the cheapy ones from wal-mart and stores like that will always suck, they don't get hot enough to straighten quick and don't straighten well. You can also ask your hair dresser to order one for you.
I got my PRO one that is normally 200$ at winners for 25$ and it works AMAZINNG and its pink =]
