What r the pros-&-cons for WAXING the chest & ab hair for men?

I am tired of shaving (especially tired of nicks and bumps and itching) my chest and abdominal hair. I was thinking about waxing but I don't know anything about it... Costs, procedure, pros and cons, and the after-effects. here are couple of specific questions:

1. Will it take a long time to grow back?

2. Is it true that the hair grows back thicker, fuller, and stronger? If not, will it EVENTUALLY stop growing after waxing many times?

3. How the heck these male models, body builders etc... have such a smooth, hair-less skin?

Thanks much for your help. What r the pros-%26amp;-cons for WAXING the chest %26amp; ab hair for men?
1.It won't grow back as quick as shaving. But i'm not saying it doesn't grow back that soon. Try laser hair removal (if you got the $$ )

2. It will NOT stop growing! waxing is just quicker. and no, i do not believe that it grows back fuller and thicker. Shaving has the same effects.

3. Photoshop! Oils. Waxing.

im a trainee beauty therapist and waxing is the best way to get rid of hair without resorting to laser treatments. the hair does not grow back thicker as it is a new hair growing from the hair follicle. It is quite common to get a rash after waxing but this shoud die down within hours, you may still experience ingrowing hairs but no more than if you were shaving, probably less.

Sometimes the hair does completely stop growing as everytime a hair is ripped out, it traumatises your follicle, but you would probably have to wax for years for this to happen.
Well Why don't you try Hair removal creams/gels? like nair .

sounds girly but it really works !

it's so much easier %26amp; it does the trick, trust me i have a guy friend who looks like an ape (his chest %26amp; ab hair) and me and my sister made him use it and it looked great after :]

%26amp; guys tend to have less sensitive skin then females so you shouldn't breakout or get a rash or anything :]

it also it painless

have fun. %26lt;3
use veet
Try ';parissa,'; it's what I use, it works too. At first cause all the shaving thickens the hair, it will hurt waxing it. But it will grow back thinner each time you use it. This is a wax. I wax myself, and it's better than shaving for me. Anyhow, it is sold at UTLA. You also go online and ask on the web, and it'll show all these answers, and you may even see what body builders use to be hair less. That's what I do when I'm curious about something, also there is kalo another product you may wanna look up, I have never tried it, but just letting you know about it. After waxing it depends on your hair, how thick it is, but it will take longer to grow, the more you use the wax. And if you decide to use wax, at first it can be messy, but don't get discouraged, it gets better every time, the thing is, it has a smell, not bad, it's a bit strong, but it is all natural, so be sure to turn on the fan over the stove while heating it up. Or you can go get a wax on your chest at one of those nail, hair, wax salons, ask them first how much it is before you do it, just to know ahead of time. I wanted to use the wax on my boyfriend but he won't let me, I love it when a guy keeps himself clean, it's a turn on. Good luck.
