I have a Helen of Troy flat iron with ceramic plates. Costed about 80.00, but was worth every penny. Bought it 3 years ago and still works as if i Just bought it.



Ceramic is the way to go--it decreases static and doesn't ';burn'; your hair.
I like the chi, its the best out of all the ones ive tried
