Trust me the 'cheap' brands work good aswell. I had a ';Conair'; for almost a year. I got it as a birthday present and it works wonders! I got the 1'; Remington T- Studio Sleek and Curls Flat Iron and wow, I just love its features. It has:

12. It has a DVD that shows how to style your hair e.g. curls, waves, updos, straight and more



I got this straightener and I adore it. I recommend this product to any person with any type of hair.



It goes up to 430 degrees.



300-340 degrees for: Very Fine, fragile, damaged hair

360-390 degrees for: Normal, easy to straighten hair

410-430 degrees for: Thick, difficult to straighten hair



It's cheap and only cost about $35.00 at Target.
