Looking for good ceramic straightener?

Ok, so I'm looking for a good straightener. One that is going to last a long time. Prices don't matter that much right now, just anything under 300. There was this lady at the mall that did the cotton ball test on it, when she would leave the straightener on for 5 minutes and it didnt damage it at all. It was pink or something, I don't know. But I am looking for one that will not damage my hair, I'm trying to grow it out. My past ones have prevented me from growing it out because it would fry my hair. So any suggestions will be helpful. I'm giving out best answers, but to only the ones that answer my questions about it and tell me more about it. Thanks in advance :)Looking for good ceramic straightener?

I use Vidal Sassoon, it was like 17 bucks, but works really good.

Theres no need for such an expensive one.
try the conair wet/dry hair straitener.

its only like $30 but it works soo well.

ive had it for 5 monthes and use it everyday and it has never damaged my hair.
there are alot of good straighteners under 300

1. CHI-- the best one ever!!! it is about 100-200 dollars

2.GHD--- veryyy good one from 189-300 dollars

3.sephora brand---pretty good around 100-200 dollars or more

**you can purchase these at any sephora store or go to www.sephora.com

Dont get the straighteners from walmart, they are crap!! Believe me i've tried them all, in my opinon CHI worked the greatest!!
My friend has a Chii and they work great! They are sold at the mall for $99.00 right now also they have mini ones and they come in different colors and fashions. It doesnt damage your hair and does an amazing job!

CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

73 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1275 total reviews.

Sedu:

29 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3881 total reviews.

That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

Take a look at this.

Note how CHI is number 7.

Note how GHD is number 4.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!

Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.
