It's great and better if your hair has been used in a CHI straghting treatment. If not it's no better than any other. I use some iorn's that are hundreds of dollars. I like the teflon ones myself and also be sure to use a spray or treatment that protects you hair.
Otherwise your hair will never look good without the flat iorn.I was wondering if anyone has used the CHI ceramic straightener? If so is it worth the money to buy?
YES!!! I love my Chi. I got one brand new on Ebay for $65 instead of going to the store and paying $140. It's better than any straightener I've used. Every hairstylist I know says Chi's the best. I agree.
Personally I have not but am looking into it myself but I went to folica.com and read the ratings on their irons and that is helping me with my choice. But I will say that farouk systems, the company that makes chi has awesome products for asisting with ironing hair.
I have one. It great, but, as long as the plates are 100% ceramic (ie. not just coated) right through, any flat iron will do. Ceramic coated plates dont provide the even heating that 100% ceramic plates provide. You can find resonably priced 100% ceramic irons that dont cost near as much as the CHI. Happy hunting!
