What is the best type of ceramic straighteners for people that already have pretty much straight hair but use a straightener to make it smooth and get rid of those annoying little fly-aways? Or just what are good brands of ceramic straighteners?Good ceramic straighteners?
i use a remington wet2straight and it works wonders.....i luv it...it has different settings for wet, damp, and dry hair.....its' only like $40 at like Walmart and ShopkoGood ceramic straighteners?
I use Con-Air. It has 25 different settings for wet and dry hair as well as all different textures and lengths and it really has not let me down.

they rate the best ceramic straighteners. . .
I have the SEDU, i've been using it for a couple yrs now - still works as great as the day i bought it, totally worth the money!
There's better than ceramic hair straighteners nowadays. So, for the same price, it's better to get a tourmaline (ion-infused) ionic iron. These irons emit charged particles and infra-red heat when they heat up to seal moisture into the hair shaft without hardly any damage to the hair (as opposed to ceramic irons that only straighten because the heat chases all moisture/dampness from the hair, causing it to become dry over time).
Good brands that carry tourmaline irons include CHI, GHD and Sedu (my all-time fav!).
First of all, always use a heat-protecting creme or mousse such as L'oreal Paris Studio Heat Seeker Straightening Cream to prevent heat damage. A good straightener has an adjustable heat control that can be turned very low for thinner of less curly hair. Mine is Conair, and I am quite happy with it. Always use a brand you trust, not a cheap knock-off that will scorch your hair with metal plates. Hope this helps. Happy shopping!
I get mine from just a regular grocery store, it's called ';Wet to Straight'; and it's always in the hair accessories area. Although I never straighten my hair wet, I can get it perfectly stick straight even without blowdrying at all, and I have really curly hair. I've bought the $60+ ones from salons and this one works just as good if not better than those and it's only about $25. Plus it's lasted me over 2 years so far! Also you can get firzz control products to put on your hair when it's still wet to tame the frizzies as well.
I have the same problem as you and i use Corioliss. Its the best. You may also want to use oil(to get rid of the fly aways)
GHDs you cant get any better.
If you are budgeting though, I'd go for remmington. Theyre my second favourite
the CHI is absolutely amazing. a bit expensive but is worth every penny.
