Its a smoother surface thus makes it easier to pull through to get sexy ,sleek hair ;)
ceramic heats up faster than regular... and are made for professional salons (or used to be) so they generally get hotter. and it is a little better for yor hair than other but its still pretty ad. just make sure to use a heat protector and you should be fine.
