Both are quite good but i found that my solid ceramics straighten alot more to make the hair feel softer plus the fact my coated did start to wear away quite a bit but i had them for 5 years. I Have KODO (brill alternative to GHD works just as good) at the mo and i had babylsisAre solid ceramics straighteners better or ceramic coated?
well ceramic coating can burn off after 6-10 months and solids will last you longer but i've have both and they give the same final results so it depends on wat you want to spend!Are solid ceramics straighteners better or ceramic coated?

The best ones are solid ceramic curve line thin (plat0 straighteners like GHD's.
They generally are. But I've found that some coated ones work just as well.
