How good are HerStyler Ceramic straighteners?

Thinking of purchasing the HerStyler Pink Ceramic Hair Straightners after my Tressemme straightners blew up yesterday. In a ideal world I'd buy GHD's again but don't really want to pay that much for them at the moment. Anyway are these straightners good? Or would you recommend something else, again please don't say GHD's cos they're too expensive at the mo! Also I'm from the UK so only products in the UK please!

How they make your hair look and how long the hair stays straight?

Let me tell you a story:

i was walking in the mall lookng for jewelery to match a dress i was going to wear for a wedding reception that night and my mom bought me one. at first i was like ';oh great, here another one that will just....not work'; (something like that)



and last night. ''she'' died. :( and i feel as if my life depended on it. Its been almost 3 years (July) since i bought it.



It's worth it. well the one i had at least. the only thing is that it changed the colour of the plates to brown like it was burnt, im not sure why, maybe if u use a hair product. (it happend to my friend too) and one of the plates chipped (a week ago..a sign of it dying soon) and the thermal control failed after a few months



but it kept my frizzy, curly hair straight for about 4 days to a week and then id have to wash it out and redo it. but once you straighten it will last until you sleep. or until it gets wet. and your hair ends up flat though so if your looking for volume you might have to blow dry or twist it under the hair to get it. And sometimes it turns off by itsself but u just twist the wire and you might get it working again.



and i suggest a heat protectant if ur temp control fails and stays at the highest setting. ;p. it might take some getting used to and its okay for me but i dont know about you.

Strightners will indeed get your hair stright. On average one should last up to 3 years. The only problem is they will damage your hair. The way they work is the heat on both sides of the hair and the pressure of like a pancake! I am from america so I dont know what you have over there. Just dont use it everyday! Good Luck!
