What is the best way to straighten hair besides using a ceramic straightener?

Ok, my hair is really wavy and at the ends curly, the straigtener works ok but it takes me 20 minutes every day, I鈥檓 doing this at 6 in the morning, and frankly I鈥檓 tired of it being ruined if I go outside and it touches snow, rain, and humidity. Even if a sweat a little it goes back to normal. Is there a weak chemical relaxer/staightener?What is the best way to straighten hair besides using a ceramic straightener?
Try using a straightener balm, I use Frederick Fekkai's hair products. YOu just apply the balm and blow dry straight with a flat brush. What is the best way to straighten hair besides using a ceramic straightener?
I know there is something you can get done in a hair salon but it is pretty expensive and as the other person said it does ';kill'; your hair in the long run.

what one of my friends has found it very helpful to work with her hair instead of using the straightener is blow drying her hair straight after she washes it and it's styled and it stays styled (not exactly as the first day) for almost a week.

it is a fact that your hair usually stays nicer the next day after you style it. not sure if you have noticed that or not. try it.:)

hope i was of some help. :)
nope they all kill hair

pls dont do it

not worth loosing your hair

plus you prolyl will still have to use a straightner
There are chemicals that can be used to straighten hair...think perm solution but instead of using perm rollers, they just keep combing the chemicals through the hair over and over and over for what feels like ages! It's no more harsh on your hair than a curly perm would be.

Depending on how well it 'takes' to your hair and how curly/wavy your hair is, you might still have to ';spot straighten'; it with your ceramic straightener, but there's not really a way of knowing unless you try it.

A word of advice: if you do go the chemical route, please go to a salon to have it done, if done incorrectly it really could cause alot of damage to your hair.
Ugh....how about a deep conditioning every morning in the shower. Maybe that will help you....? Either that or ignore it. Or you could go see a hairdresser and see what their opinion is....

Good luck

Have a nice day :-)
chemical straighteners damage and frie your ends, whci will cause them to curl up

plus it still wont make them permenantely straight.

I would say straighten it, hairspray the hell outta it, and dont wash your hair for about three days, then repeat[thats what i do]
