My hair never stays straight for long after straightening them. I use ceramic straighteners. Advice?

Should I use better products or a better straightening iron? My hair goes frizzy after about half an hour.My hair never stays straight for long after straightening them. I use ceramic straighteners. Advice?
You have to buy a better straightener.


Conair has one that is 200$ but it works realllllyyyy reallllllllllyyyyy well. Mine stayed straight for 4 days in a row. It was the first and only time i had straightened my hair.

I have same prob! My hair is only fine, and I use GHDs! It seems to start to kink much earlier than other people who straighten their hair... My hair isn't curly to start with, only wavy. I'm beginning to wonder if my GHDs aren't working properly.


I can recommend a yummy heat protector though... Lee Stafford's - it smells divine, and protects against heat up to 250 degrees.


I know it can have a lot to do with humidity though, so it depends where you live.

Use GHDs i had the same problem but i dont now that i use them.
after u straighten ur hair, put a serum or anti-frizz spray to stop it from frizzing
get it relaxed at a salon!
Just make it curly.
I have a great conair ceramic straightner that is amazing but the only thing that keeps my hair from frizzing out is adding a little bit of oil. On each section that you straighten, put a little oil on it first and it will help to keep the frizzies away.
you can get it Life Straigtened at a salon or try the GHD straigtenener, it costs a lot but i love it and it works on my friends super curly hair and stays straight all day!


~ and make sure u use the spray that comes with it or ur hair will fry!

you need ghd's and treseme heat protection spray.
add hair oli frist or may be you need a better. mine works good i have COLIOLISS i got it at the mall. in a stand of hair straighteners
start by making sure that you blow dry your hair as straight as possible before flat ironing-it has to be completely dry. when you think your hair is dry use the cool button on your dryer, it will seal the hair cuticle and you will also be able to feel if there is any moisture left in your hair. put in a heat protector and use a GOOD(chi, t3, etc)flat iron. take small sections and flat iron. if you have a good quality flat iron you shouldn't have to go over it more then once. finish with a serum or antihumectant of some sort and a bit of light hold hairspray. good luck
HEY GURL EMAIL MME I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM..lol..Yea but umm i notice them other girls with like curly hair and they straighten there hair and it lats all day even with humidity outside..I GET SO JEALOUS..Buy my hair is naturually kinky curly and frizzy..But how mych degrees does ur straightener go to??If it gos to 250 or less..NOT GONNA WORK...But 350 or over shouuld work fine...Mine goes to 455///
well you should use some hair spray to keep it straight or put it up instead x
get hold of some GHD's, best straightners out there!





and also use some heat protection..

i have reli thick hair and had the same problem. until i got my ghd's they are gr8. i also use S factor shine serum to put the frizzy bits down.
