Which is better an ionic or ceramic straightener for curly hair?

i just used my friends hair straghtener and it was infiniti ceramic by conair... it made my hair look soo nice and shiny. but i havea wet to straight crappy one. and makes my hair burnt and dryed out... but idk which kind it was

i think ceramic, but it really depends on what kind or brand you get. ive tried different ceramic ones, but they work differently, but i prefer conair cuz theyre a really good brand. all of my hair products are conair, and im happy with the results.
I believe ceramic is better. And the wet to dry straighteners don't really work. It does the same to my hair. I don't think there is a way to straighten your hair like that well with a straightener. I'd invest in a better, ceramic, straightener. :)
Well ceramic straiteners work very well on me and my curly hair.ionic does not work for curly.They work better on wavey hair. For best results go to a salon and get it done. I costed me about $30. But to buy one go to Target. I got mine for roughly $45.
ceramic, ghd's but therye expensive, so nicky clarke are good, just get advise from the shop assistant, but ceramic are definatley the best
They actually make ceramic ionic flat irons. That would be best.
